    Karim Benzema

Zidane being asked on who's gonna be the next number 9 at Real Madrid between Cristiano, Mbappe and Haaland: "It will be Karim Benzema" https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/ligue-des-champions/haaland-mbappe-ou-ronaldo-au-real-zidane-prefere-profiter-de-benzema_AV-202103160576.html Benzema's...

Benzema: “If Haaland arrives to Real Madrid, let him come.” https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2021/03/15/604f5493e2704e63668b45c5.html Benz will see Haaland off the same way he did with Morata and Jović lol.

Scoring a hat trick against 17th placed Cagliari is why Juventus pays €30m per season in salary for Cristiano.

    Karim Benzema

It seems Benzema is living rent free in your head  Crazy how "Madridistas" are hating their far & away the best Real Madrid player. They would be competing for Europa League if Benzema couldn't carry them.

    La Liga 2020/21

Idk, Benzema has consistenly scored around 30 goals every season after Cristiano's depature. It could've easily been more if he took penalties & free-kicks. Benzema was never that prolific with Cristiano around. If anything, Benzema got rejuvenated after his awful 2017-18 season.

    La Liga 2020/21

Benz dependencia. No one else in their attack can really score. I almost feel bad for Benzema having crap supporting cast up-front.
  8. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

You're absolutely right that current Isak ain't good enough as a starter for a perennial UCL-contender, but it's a bit harsh. Isak has already 12 goals + 2 assists and is a big reason why Real Sociedad have a shot for 4th place. He's only 21 years old and can very well become a world class...

    Oh, my bad.
  10. El Flaco

    Ousmane Dembélé

Because Dembele was 2nd most hyped young talent in Europe in 2017. And since Barca were desperate to replace Neymar, Dortmund was able to demand €105m + €40m add-ons for him.
  11. El Flaco

    Cr150

Juventus won 7 straight Scudettos, even reached 2 UCL-Finals before Cristiano's arrival. They didn't got competitive in UCL with him. They haven't been successful to attract star players joining with Cristiano in past 3 seasons. Only Matthijs de Ligt is the exception. Mbappe reportedly earns...

    Erling Haaland

I don't see why Barca would be an appealing destination for Haaland. The supporting cast is nothing to write home about & given to our debts, we can't offer him insane salary.
  13. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

I doubt it. Lewy is still arguably the best striker & hasn't showed any sign of decline.
  14. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

In fairness to Suarez, he didn't play UCL regulary until joining Barca at the age of 27. Also, he was horrendous between 16/17-18/19 (only 5 goals in 29 games).
  15. El Flaco

    Cr150

Cristiano is easily the biggest disappointment in Juve's history and it's not close (relatively to the expectations). He gets paid €31m per season (by far the highest salary in Serie A) & was supposed to push them over the line in UCL. But Juve haven't got past Round of 16 in past two seasons.
  16. El Flaco

    Diego Maradona

Fantastic player - just a shame he was an absolute piece of shit.
  17. El Flaco

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

C'mon mate, let's not disrespect Laporta's legacy. Barca were a completely dysfunctional club when Laporta became the president. He's one of the main reasons why we became ridiculously succsssful in 2000s. Also, nobody expected Pep as a world class coach. Laporta could've easily choosed a...

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

Holy shit, it actually fecking happened. I can't wait to see Bartomeu and his gang declare bankruptcy. They will be liable for the €820m debt that Barcelona got during Barto's tenure.
  19. El Flaco

    Eduardo Camavinga

I doubt he's joining to Real Madrid as a bench warmer. Casemiro is still in his prime & he won't slow down anytime soon.
  20. El Flaco

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Argentina's dysfunctional offense (even with Messi) have look terrible for ages. Prime Higuain was a brilliant player in his own right. His numbers would skyrocketing next to 2 GOAT-playmakers in Messi & Neymar. I say this about any world class striker (Falcao, Lewy, Benzema, Aguero, Vardy...
