My initial comment was about Valverde's points-per-game stat domestically being maintained by Setien for that season. When I then say "Setien actually did better," I think it's pretty clear that I was still speaking within the context of points-per-game domestically.

I said that Setien did better points wise domestically with the same team. I specifically said that I'm NOT commenting on who, all things considered, was a better coach.
