Germany will not play it easy. I highly doubt that. I predict 3-0 for Germany. The Ghana-Portugal game is up for grabs. I could see both teams winning, but definitely not by more than a 2 goal margin.

I know Portugal is crap but a lot of you are seriously underestimating them way too much. They match up really well against Ghana and they will have Pepe back. He should add a lot of defensive stability. Plus Ghana defense is piss poor compared to USA's. I could see the Portugal vs Ghana game...

Exactly this. A lot of people in this forum don't realize that we sell low because we WANT TO OFFLOAD these players in the first place. A lot of other clubs sell high because they don't necessarily want to sell the player that the other club is asking for. There are some exceptions of course...

Yeah, that's very true. Argentina has always been Germany's playing toys for as long as I've watched the WC. I personally don't rate Argentina very highly. From what groups are their opponents in round of 16? if it's a top European side I could see them struggling.

Our defense is still neglected. If by the end of the season we don't get anyone, then we must buy back Botia. He's a decent defender who will be a great backup/rotation player with Bartra.
