He did a beautiful little backheel, but as I have said before, I still don't get it with Rafael Leao. Maybe he will play like Rivaldo in the second half, but I just don't buy him as a top player. Very one-dimensional and relies loads on his pace.

The thing is, Martinez is funny when he acts that way (to an extent). Certain other players just seem like pricks with their antics.

I used to think Pogba got a bit too much credit for shouldering most of the creativity in the France side, but seeing the way they've played in this tournament maybe I underestimated him.

Yeah, I hate when managers go negative in big knock out games - bring on more conservative players and take off their biggest threats. They generally end up conceding then lose the pace and threat for extra time. Worked out for Spain this time though with a sub scoring.

That's true - pundits rarely do their research in most countries. I find that some journalists are better pundits than actual pundits. Guys like James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein. Maybe it's a superior grasp of language and less bias towards and against players due to club or national team...

Wirtz has fallen down the pecking order. He will likely come on in the second half however.
