I don't think it's that unreasonable. It's not that he's done poorly, it's that there doesn't seem to be much improvement. If things carry on the way they are then you could conceivably miss out on top four, let alone a title.

The bigger sides have mostly weakened while the weaker teams have mostly strengthened. Swansea are sixth from bottom but have a guy who has just started for Spain in their team, while Fulham are fourth from bottom with Berbatov as their main striker, for example.

Probably. It is a great story though. Released by Spurs but refused to stop coming to training, had to go through nine different loans and nine different clubs, forced his way into the Spurs first team despite them buying a load of stars, now he scores a screamer on his England début. Brilliant.
