English clubs have had more money for a long time. There will be no power shift until a) the clubs spend money on expertise and innovation as well as players and b) something is done to sort out the fixture congestion problem in England.
But for a Chelsea side no one saw coming they could very likely have won the league. Pochettino has certainly done far better than Klopp, Guardiola and Mourinho.
Trying to play on someone's biases isn't much of an argument. It could just as easily have gone the other way. Goal difference also has the added advantage of encouraging teams to be more attacking.
If Spurs can keep their best players and their manager then there's no reason they can't solidify themselves as a top four team, which would be massive for them, especially if it's at the expense of Arsenal.
