No not really, he's fairly mediocre. Grimaldo is better but currently out injured for the rest of the season (even he wouldn't be good enough to play back up LB for the senior team)
not really a fair game for venezuela since they conceded an unfair penalty and an offside goal. However Argentina has been controlling this match all night and they have a really solid defense which rarely gets credit.
He's not as good on the left as he is on the right but it just seems to be a problem of not being completely comfortable there yet. Give him a few games and some training there and I doubt there will be a problem.
I hope he recovers quickly. In the meantime, Montoya has to play every game to get conditioned in time for the PSG clash. Hopefully him being a defensive fullback would make the partnership with Dani a solid one defensively.
So many goalscoring opportunities in the last few minutes
Not a bad result, unlucky on a lot of chances. Negredo was poor as hell in terms of finishing.
Filipe Luis over Marcelo any day.
-----------Alves
----Dani-Silva-Dante-Luis
-------Luiz-Ramires
Lucas-Oscar/Hernanes-Neymar
----------Leandro
I wonder how that lineup would work
Barcelona will sign a keeper for B-team this summer. Sports director Zubizaretta has ruled out to sign anyone from his ex-club Athletic [md]
That rules out Kepa who is a very talented young Spanish keeper, same with Unai Simon who is also talented but very very young. Not sure if Zubi was...
