    Jordi Alba

I don't want to rush him into it. It's best to not hastily start him vs PSG. First we have to see how Montoya performs. If he does well then there is no need for Alba to play without perfect fitness against PSG.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Yea we had been longing for it for months and it has finally arrived when we needed it most thankfully  Bring on PSG.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Mata's far more consistent than Bale and has been performing all season. Suarez and Mata are on the same level imo

    Gerard Deulofeu

His playing style often forces errors from the defenders. I'm not saying every error is forced by him, but he does do that quite a bit. And, it's great to see that he can really capitalize on those errors well and stay composed in so many attacking situations in the box, unlike say Alexis or...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Not doing well right now at Athletic but a move to Barca could rejuvenate his career. He somewhat reminds me of Iniesta in a way.

    2014 WC Qualifiers - Europe

kepa and de gea definitely have what it takes to be as good as casillas. It'll be hard to be that good, but they both have it. Simon might but he's too young to tell right now. The next crop of defenders has way more depth than the current one. While individually, none may be as good as Puyol...

    2014 WC Qualifiers - Europe

for a team like spain they need a midfield orchestrator. In a few years, Thiago could easily inherit that role from Xavi.

    2014 WC Qualifiers - Europe

There are PLENTY of phenomenal players in Spains ranks for the future. I'll give you some based on every position that are good and young: GK-De Gea, Kepa (who has more potential than De Gea), Guaita, Unai Simon (possibly) CB-Inigo Martinez, Nico, Tarin, Quintilla, Dominguez, Bartra, Muniesa...

    2014 WC Qualifiers - Europe

It's one game, don't be so quick to draw a conclusion. They didn't even lose, it was a draw. Every team has it's share of upsets and sometimes even Spain aren't the exception.

    Xavi Hernández

I agree with Garrus on this one. I think Xavi is trying to rush into the France game a bit prematurely. If he doesn't seem fully recovered, I doubt VDB will play him.

    Martin Montoya

Well he did a pretty good job against Cristiano so Moura and Lavezzi are nothing out of his comfort zone.

    Gerard Piqué

40 was too much especially considering we needed a left back at the time as well

    Martin Montoya

Yea I agree with Flavia here, they are never gonna play Bartra. This is roughly the CB pecking order we have: Pique>Puyol>Masch>Adriano>Song>Busquets>Abidal>Injured Puyol>Injured Adriano>Messi>Iniesta>>>>>>>>>>>>Bartra
