Indeed. Like they always say, the old guard can impart their wisdom to the new lads. Maybe Giggsy teach Mason a few extra tricks.

    Erik ten Hag

He's too busy smacking his missus about. Scholesy would be better. In all seriousness, they might give it to Ruud. Imagine how funny that would be lol.

The tea lady couldn't be doing a worse job as coach this season really. Well, if Jimmy hadn't sacked her.

Alexa Bliss has a better finishing move than all of United's forwards, to be fair.
  5. Maradona37

    Erik ten Hag

He's a genius. He's constantly deployed Zirkzee, Hojlund and Garnacho in the false footballer role this season.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Agree, it was a fairly good pass by Pena. That is the only ever so slight bugbear I have with Rassvet's otherwise top post.

    Premier League 24/25

Thanks. Yeah I enjoyed the first as well, but this is apparently a step up. It's also quite cool for me as it (and I might be wrong) seems to lean into the themes of pressures of fame and stuff, and as you know I have mentioned celebrity culture a fair bit on here. I am gonna go down and watch...

    Premier League 24/25

@Temptation This is it in case you don't know anything about it. Gonna go to the 1.10 pm showing (though that really starts at about 1.40 pm post trailers). It's only £5 admission on a Monday too with my Insider card.

Likely nothing you would be interested in - Smile 2. If you have seen the first one though you can tell me what you thought of it.

    Premier League 24/25

Hey mate, I am gonna watch this later - just heading offline to do some chores then go down the cinema. I won't forget, but just in case I do, remind me tonight. I do wanna watch it and it's only 10 minutes. I will get back to you on it.

From his thread on Redcafe - worrying where football is going

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

So subtle yet so excellent. I must say Raphinha's touch inside absolutely kills them too. Other players might go down the line there. He brings it inside and from there Real are fucked.

    Premier League 24/25

I figured I might as well show my 'career' on Superbru so far. Overall it's pretty good with some high percentile finishes - though I have had some mediocre and poor ones too. Some of these I gave up early (eg Women's World Cup) but others like the World Cup in Qatar I had an absolute nightmare...

    20 - Dani Olmo

Yeah I honestly think it's the marketing. He doesn't seem to be on covers of FIFA games, isn't in the media much (correct me if I am wrong?) doesn't have superstar vibes as a person. He's just a really, really good footballer who doesn't really have 'star power' (whatever the fuck that means)...

    Premier League 24/25

Cheers haha. You too. Finished 1st in UK in Serie A and Europa League in same season a couple of seasons ago too. Let's be honest though, a lot of it is luck. For instance, say I predict 1-1 in a game, and it is 1-1 and someone smacks the post in the last minute - that could go from an exact...

    Premier League 24/25

It's going very well for me so far in PL predictor - usually it's one of my worse-performing games and I finish top 16-17 percent at best.
  17. Maradona37

    Aston Villa

Thanks for the info mate. I used to go to Rangers games when I was younger and an adult but obviously since I stopped supporting them due to hating the bigotry in and out of the stadium I don't go. I was thinking about going to watch my local team sometimes. They're in the fifth level of...

    Premier League 24/25

Fans follow teams who get relegated from the fourth level, teams who go bust etc. I think United fans can survive with not finishing in the top half of the Premier League. I get that you mean different expectations etc, but United fans need to have some sense of perspective.
  19. Maradona37

    Cole Palmer

He's brilliant. I have always said he is. He and Kane are the best English players. Also, as Andresito says, that pass was amazing and won't show up in the stats lots of people obsess over.
  20. Maradona37

    Jude Bellingham

That's the sort of thing that doesn't show up in 'stats' but has a major effect on the game.
