I was thinking about the Rock today, I don't understand how he's meant to be handsome. He is way too bulky and has a strange face. Jason Statham is a much better example of a bald stud. Though he lacks talent too, like the Rock.

Fair enough. Like said, I don't agree much with individual awards in team sports. I think Rodri was better than Vini last season, but you think otherwise. I feel both opinions are fair, so agree to disagree. But Carvajal's name being thrown with Rodri's is a disaster. It's all about trophies...

Why? Rodri is a brilliant player who is consistently excellent. It's hardly a robbery for a brilliant midfielder like him to win this. In fact, I think it does him a disservice to think Vini deserves it much more than he does. Why? Because he's an attacker so will naturally have better G/A...

What's a joke? What I said? I don't see why. Surely the award should simply go to who performed the best, regardless of team titles etc? Rodri is far more important for City and Spain than Carvajal is for Real and Spain.

My point is the criteria is daft anyway. All that should matter is who performed the best. In my opinion that is Rodri. Trophies are team achievements, and fair play shouldn't really have much bearing. But like I said, I don't care about the award anyway. Just find criteria is made up on a dime.

To be fair how much can Salah really do for Egypt in the World Cup, especially carrying an injury? They're ok but far from elite. In fact they were better in general before Salah arrived on the scene (won AFCON in late 00s two or three times I believe).

Shows how farcical this award is that they think Carvajal is even close to as important for his teams as Rodri is. Sure, he won more trophies and scored a goal in the CL Final. And? Rodri clearly has a much bigger impression on his teams than Carvajal does, and I actually rate Dani more than you do.
