    Marquinhos

If Neymar is deadset on coming in 2014 instead of this summer, then I'm willing to bet that the club will get a starting CB+Marquinhos

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Barcelona are keeping an eye on Malaga player Isco (21). Player would be delighted to join, but City and Monao more likely options now. [md] Mundo has been posting a lot of wild rumors recently bringing up players like Puyol, Marquinhos, Reina, Isco, etc.

    5 - Carles Puyol

I thought the same but I thought back to the Gotze transfer. If Gotze can move to his club's biggest competition in the league based off of a phone call from Pep and being a childhood Bayern fan then Puyol could leave based on a final move to an admired club of his before ending his career and...

    5 - Carles Puyol

If it's about the board then a huge problem is present with the club. When are elections? I heard Laporta wanted to run again. If Rosell is the reason that Villa, Puyol, Valdes, Pep, and Abidal get pushed out then he has no business being in charge. Some things are worth more than just money.

    5 - Carles Puyol

Barcelona centre back Carles Puyol (35) wants to leave Barcelona this summer. He will join AC Milan. [btv] I call BS on the rumor

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

I'd work the squad issue like this: -Deulofeu and Rafinha promoted -Roberto loaned out (perhaps to Espanyol) and Muniesa should be loaned out too -Decrease the squad size by first taking out the complete unnecessary players (Bojan, JDS, Fontas, Keirrison, Afellay) -Then maybe take out players...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I agree mostly but it's not always that Messi doesn't know what to do without the ball. I've seen plenty of instances where a teammate is only a couple yards away ready to pass to him but he's not ready to receive it and start moving. It's a flaw but honestly it doesn't seem to affect him much...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I agree there but Marquinhos would be a great, great transfer to lock in for the future. Buying one CB and Marquinhos to loan back to Roma could be a good idea

Liverpool keeper Reina is the most likely successor of Valdes, while Roma player Marquinhos is becoming a serious option at centre back [md] Reina- bad Marquinhos- good

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

A compliment towards Messi's ability but a criticism on his tendency to sometimes walk and not be involved due to lapses in focus.

    Juvenil A

Mina is such a talented kid. He seems like a 'dark horse' kind of player who won't pop up on the media's radar until he's like 20 or 21

    Neymar - v2

Never said they were all perfect now, just have the potential and ability to fit in. Plus I never said they all had to be options, I'd actually much rather prefer Baptistao to go to Atletico and make his name there, and Muniain to stay at Athletic, and Fischer to stay at Ajax. It's just a list...

    Neymar - v2

Baptistao is a smart player, I think he's a bit underrated. He's raw and has great potential so a more proper opinion of him will be made when he goes to Atletico, we'll see how he does there. His best qualities are his intelligence and he's very flexible and versatile in attack and has well...

    Neymar - v2

Tough pick but when it comes to transfers, the main idea is to find someone with the fundamental qualities to adapt to Barca and is smart enough to learn the system quickly. After that it's a matter of them getting used to it and adapting when they actually come. In terms of forwards I'd say...

    Neymar - v2

More slow buildup play/possession style=more time for the opposition to shove 9-10 players into defense and crowd the middle Brazilian style is similar in a counterattacking sense where they play quick one-two's in fast attacking situations with space to exploit and usually only up against 2-3...

    David Villa

In the past 2 months he's been on form and while not scoring at Messi levels, he's been scoring or creating consistently. 2 goals and 2 assists vs Mallorca Then consecutive assists vs Zaragoza and Levante Goal vs Athletic Goal and assist vs Betis And he's been linking up very well overall

    David Villa

Mallorca, Athletic, Betis, etc. Plus he's put in good performances for the past month or two
