    23 - Jules Kounde

They're probably micro-managed so much as players that they start to feel like robots and miss when they were kids playing for fun.

    Mohamed Salah

He's playing very well. I have always liked him a lot as a player - well, since he exploded at Liverpool anyway. His dribbling has declined a little as Tempt says, but his finishing and passing in the final third are as good as ever.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Yeah it took me about 15 seconds to catch it even after I read it. It was below the belt by him.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Fair enough and true. I apologise if my comment was insensitive or demeaning about Poland - I did not intend it to be and zero malice was intended.

I love nice clothes but they won't look great on me until I drop weight. Of course some clothes can disguise weight gain, and black especially is good for making people (or me at least) look slimmer.

Don't wanna talk about the fashion stuff with players, but must say I love that grey coat at 16 seconds and the leather jacket at the end. I wear leather jackets myself.

They were pretty good in the 70s and 80s (Poland). But yeah. Lol just realised the second line is about WWII.

    Hahaha stop pot-stirring ;)

    Overhead and bicycle kicks

    Fair enough.

    Overhead and bicycle kicks

Remember Mexes's now from back in the day. What is impressive about his is not only the angle and being on the edge of the box, but he twists his body after chesting it, before striking it.

They're not dumbarse. I personally prefer dribbling goals but these take a lot of ability too.

    Overhead and bicycle kicks

Inspired by the discussion in the Ronaldo thread. Post some of the best you have ever seen, and discuss which are the best, taking into account technical quality, position, distance, angle, shinned or not, how much work the player had to do to 'fetch' the ball, degree of difficulty, and...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

Forgot him too. There's been loads who have scored them, was just rattling some of the top of my head. Probably the best ability wise was scored in a fifth division game somewhere and was never televised. Here is one of the Van Basten ones. Look at the deviation of the ball after he connects...

    Cristiano Ronaldo

Probably the best I have seen though is either Garnacho or Trevor Sinclair. Incredible overhead kicks. Bale, Rivaldo, Rooney and Ronaldo's too, among others. Edit - holy fuck, forgot Zlatan. That takes it. Miles out and the ball doesn't even bounce til it crosses the line.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

I know it seems like I am nitpicking, and that was an amazing goal, but incredibly I don't think it was the best bicycle kick scored by a RM player in the CL that season. To me Bale goal was even more impressive, in the final.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

    Take care, talk soon bud.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

It's daft. He should be used more sparingly at his age. He doesn't realise it would prolong his career and/or improve performances when he does play. If there is one negative thing I can say about Ronaldo at moment, it's that he doesn't understand the phrase quality over quantity.

    Vitinha

Yeah he is a very good player and still young.
  19. Maradona37

    Cristiano Ronaldo

I agree, he plays better when he has more rest. However, that is partly on him, as he wants to play every game. That is a lovely goal you posted above.

    Rafael Leão

I'm definitely open to admitting I might have judged him too hastily and negatively. However, he likely needs to leave Milan to win big trophies. They're a historic club but struggling to win Serie A and really little threat in the CL. He's 25 now so this is his time if he's gonna make the step...
