    9 - Robert Lewandowski

What's Lewa done in the CL exactly? Other than all the goals against RM at Dortmund and the 2020 (COVID) trophy? Other than that I don't remember him doing much? Sure he racks up stats like a flat-track bully but still. Give me examples of his excellent performances in the competition. And it...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Not the point I was making and disingenuous comment. The point is Lewa - like Suarez - has been poor in lots of big CL games. Trying to exonerate him while demonising Suarez is fanboy behaviour. I am not trying to defend Suarez but you guys are Lewa.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Messi is the best player ever though (with Maradona) so it's normal to drool over him as a footballer. This is a serious false equivalence - Lewa absolutely should NOT draw the same sort of admiration as a footballer than Messi should - Messi is in a completely different stratosphere.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Lewa has been bollocks in loads of CL games too. It's just ridiculous to act like Lewa is a level or two above Suarez like some of you are doing. Absolute fanboy behaviour. You even think he's better than R9 which is...well....there's no word for it.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

It's bizarre. These people are talking like Lewa is one of the greatest players of all time and the categorically best striker of all time. Usually these kind of fanboys are reserved for the top 10-20 players of all time, not someone like fucking Robert Lewandowski, lol. He has so many more...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Yes, because football is solely about goalscoring. I swear some on here don't listen. And Lewa has won one CL, he's hardly a CL superstar. Suarez is a better footballer than Lewa, regardless of goalscoring. If you think it's laughable to rate him over Lewa then you're overrating Lewa and...

    Lucas Bergvall

Amazing goal, love dribbling goals. Lol at the number 2 full-back with his hands in the air asking for the ball when he starts dribbling. Probably felt daft a few seconds later when the ball was in the net lol. edit; that is from February, Still a brilliant goal.

    Serie A

@Horatio @Temptation @Fati_Future_BallonDor @KingLeo10 @Alik Got an exact for Lecce-Empoli (1-1) :) And a close for Union Berlin-Freiburg (predicted 1-1, finished 0-0) Got Rayo and Marseille wrong in upsets, but a nice enough start to the weekend's predicting.

    La Liga 24/25

Rayo were backed by 86 percent of people on Superbru tonight, including me. I wasn't entirely sure but meh.

    Virgil van Dijk

Yea I really meant that's the general theme of his time at Liverpool, those criticisms, when actually his passing and dribbling have been tip top for most of the time there.

    Virgil van Dijk

He gets hate in England, people calling him a 'tap-in merchant' or at least just a goalscorer. I don't get it, he's constantly on the ball and dribbling and his incisive passing in the final third is brilliant and always has been.

    Ticks the right boxes.

    Liverpool

I remember the Tottenham one. I watched that game live. As you say, the big man makes a calculated decision. Son is the best finisher in that team (alongside Kane at the time) and if he leaves a gap for Sissoko, Son (being ambidextrous) can drag to his right foot and then has has a one on one...

    Liverpool

Textbook defending against a fast tricky player when one on one. Show him away from goal then block from a poor angle, and a covering man picks up the pieces.

    Virgil van Dijk

I have always been a very big fan of this guy as a footballer.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Maradona's coaching ability was inversely proportional to his playing ability.

    Xavi Hernández

I know it's all platonic as they're wives and gfs of team-mates, but most of those women are absolutely beautiful.

    8 - Pedri

What kind of player is he? Admittedly I have mostly watched him with Spain, and here and there with Barca. He fits a couple of profiles I think.
