Yeah it's dancing with the devil really. When it works it has sensational benefits, but is extremely risky and law of averages says there will be several times it will not work. Not just Barca either, it's risky for any team in this era of fast, intelligent forwards who know how to bend runs...

Not a bad gameweek thus far. I am still doing really well in PL predictor and these two exacts help a lot. The three wrongs were all big upsets as the percentages show so no harm done. Getting an exact with 35 percent correct outcome, and a close with 33 percent will really help also.

Aye. It does seem a bit like a wasted opportunity in these times of many subs and the squad being paramount. Like you say they could seriously prepare for every eventuality with the full-backs/centre-backs.

Yeah true, I guess that is what they are doing quite often so the defensive hybrid player can tuck in and make a three while the natural full-back adds to the attack. Good point about switching them around - it would make them more unpredictable. Could even do it within games with the 5 subs...

This trend that has come back in style annoys me a bit - playing CBs as full-backs. Barca and Arsenal do it too with Kounde, Timber, White etc.
