    Antoine Griezmann

Have disliked him ever since the 2016 CL campaign. Knocked out Barca in the QF 2nd leg, but choked in the final against Real Madrid.

    24 - Eric García

I don't know if it applies to weightlifting, but I do know in powerlifting there were some really short guys with short limbs and they could put out monster lifts on the bench press and squat. Not so much on the deadlift.

    Miralem Pjanic

Wonder if Juve will pay all his wage or only part? Anyways, thanks Allegri.

    8 - Pedri

Another trait shared with Iniesta. They both look older than their age. Very good sign.

    Philippe Coutinho

That's because they know there is less pressure on this team to win with Messi gone. No more being scapegoated for not pulling their weight while Messi does his heroics. They won't get too much criticism now for a trophyless season.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Barto was just a bad negotiator. That story about Barto and how negotiated with Dortmund for Dembele is enough to prove that. Messi probably would have wanted to be the highest paid footballer in the world, but Barto for sure overpaid. I'd love to play him in Poker, he'd fold so early.

    Sergi Roberto

With the addition of Emerson to the squad, Roberto should be a fixture in the midfield a lot more. Pretty much like a new signing...

    Lionel Messi - v7

In 2016, yes. PSG would've paid much more. We saw what they paid Neymar the next year...

    Lionel Messi - v7

The French/Qatari club would have paid him much more. They were desperate for a new and bigger star after Ibra left. Messi got what he could negotiate. Nobody holds a gun to anyone's head in contract negotiations. Barto just got bent over in every single negotiation he was involved with.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I can say this with 100% confidence, there is no one on this forum and no athlete in the world that would play for free if they were in the same position as Messi.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Barto and his board still paying for bots to smear Laporte for losing Messi, when it was Barto's mismanagement that caused this in the first place.

    2020 Summer Olympics - Tokyo

Christine Sinclair is the Women's GOAT now.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Regardless of what happens, Bartomeu ruined the club financially to a point where Barca cannot even retain Messi. But the bigger picture is that the Premier League is just too rich and increasing the gap between all the other leagues. It was only a matter of time before some Premier League...

    Lionel Messi - v7

An official statement probably has more of an effect on sponsors and broadcast partners rather than just rumors. I imagine there are corporations that have paid millions to La Liga upset about Messi leaving and they probably will let Tebas and the league know that.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I don't believe this. I think this is a move by Barca to get La Liga sponsors and media partners to put more pressure on Tebas so that he allows relaxation of financial rules to allow Barca to sign Messi.

    2020 Summer Olympics - Tokyo

Amazing race for the Mens' 200m. Good to see De Grasse win gold.

    Joan Laporta

I'm sure he has tried, but Laporta has not cleared enough dead weight yet. Umtiti and Pjanic are the top two names I want jettisoned out of the club.

    Ice Hockey

Vegas did way better in their draft than Seattle. Vegas ended up walking out of the expansion draft with 2x 1st rd draft picks, 3x2nd rd picks, a 3rd, and some later round picks. Plus they got guys like Shea Theodore, Rielly Smith, and Alex Tuch in side deals. Seattle got nothing in terms of...

    Saul Niguez

He would add depth to the midfield. The current squad is lacking in terms of useful midfielders over a full season.

    Ousmane Dembélé

I keep hearing about how great Coutinho's first 6 months were, but I thought he was below average. Of course he was even worse the following season. I also thought the initial 4-4-2 formation that Valverde used to fit in Coutinho put a cap on the team's potential. Yeah Coutinho was so-so but...
