    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Surprised there is no Allison praise in here. He was also supposed to be much better than MATS, but since he lost today, no talk about him. People are too dependent on Wins/Losses when judging keepers and have a new flavor of the month all the time.

    Cr150

When people look back in a decade or two from now, they will see that CR7 won his R.Madrid CLs with 2 Ballon D'or winners playing alongside him. With Messi, he had such little help compared to CR7. No Ballon D'or winners. Hurts Cristi's legacy immensely.

    Cr150

None of them were Ballon D'or winners. Good players but there is a clear gap from having a supporting cast that has Ballon D'or winners compared to a supporting cast that has no Ballon D'or winners.

    Cr150

Hurts his CL legacy a bit with Madrid winning it this year. He is very lucky he played with 2 Ballon D'or Winners in his prime, Modric and Benzema( he is pretty much a lock to win it.) Conversely, Messi won 3 of his CLs without having any Ballon D'or Winners. CR7 has just had too much help...

    Kylian Muppet

I'm sure Perez will figure something out. And I imagine there is an appeal to come in as the saviour rather than a great player joining a team that is already competing for everything without you. Madrid is aging, but they are showing they are a great team who didn't really need Mbappe too...

    Neymar Jr.

Arguably, yes. But it didn't seem like he have as much behind the scenes power as Neymar and his clan. This extension and all the rumors about the concessions that PSG made to Mbappe make it seem like he is their guy when it comes to which players has the most power behind the scenes.

    Basketball/NBA

The last Celtics-Warriors game in the regular season was a pretty good game too. I think the Celtics match up well with the Warriors on paper. But the Warriors do have experience and familiarity with playing in the NBA finals.

    Kylian Muppet

Madrid won the league and are in the CL finals all without Mbappe. Mbappe couldn't risk being seen as a frontrunner and joining a Madrid side that currently doesn't really need him. Oh, and the Qatari money was likely a factor too.

    Neymar Jr.

Went to PSG to be the man, and now 5 years later Mbappe has definitely replaced Neymar with this contract extension. Wonder how Neymar and his papa will handle this. Hoping for some drama this summer.

    Iñigo Martínez

I remember he was also in rumors in the summer of 2014 as a CB option when Barca were chasing Marquinhos. Ended up with Mathieu and Vermaelen.

    Basketball/NBA

Amazing performances by Doncic. Going to be fun to see if he can do it against the Warriors who are a much more experienced team with championship pedigree. As for the Suns, Devin Booker just isn't quite as good as many thought. Disappointing performances from him.

    15 - Andreas Christensen

Apparently he suffers from anxiety issues and that was a reason he dropped out of the squad for the FA Cup final. If he does join Barca, hope he is prepared for everything that comes with being a Barca player.

    Matthijs de Ligt

Both were pretty soft penalties imo. Turning the inside of the penalty box into a flopping sport like basketball where even a light touch can draw a penalty.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Lukaku is a clumsy oaf who is mentally soft. Do not want him anywhere near Barca. Would be a terrible signing. Take the proven Lewandowski or scout for a younger player with potential.

Are Manchester United really the 'biggest' club itw?

The only way NFL teams can be considered bigger brands are if you look at it only financially. The NFL has a hard salary cap, and revenue sharing. Guaranteed profits with their financial model. In soccer/football, big teams can sometimes eat big financial losses.

Are Manchester United really the 'biggest' club itw?

NFL brands are not big outside the US, but they do make a ton of money from the US. NFL is extremely popular in that country and the fact that TV networks can put so many ads due to all the stoppages in play is the biggest reason the league makes so much money. But outside the USA, nobody...

    Philippe Coutinho

Difficult to understand the vision Barca management had when they splurged the money on him. I believe Robert Fernandez said he saw Coutinho as an Iniesta replacement. That really says it all. Bad leadership from the top down.

Are Manchester United really the 'biggest' club itw?

Manchester United are the most popular club in the most popular league in the world. And the financial gap between the EPL and other leagues is widening.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Xavi must be still wanting to lock down 2nd place. A bit of extra money for a higher finish in the standings plus the appearance fee in the Spanish Arabia Super Cup.

    Sergio Busquets

Every manager has played Busquets extensively ever since he supplanted Yaya. Not just a Xavi thing only.
