So is that what the actual call was, offside? On who??? Bradley, who if he was in an offside position, which I don't believe he was, was only there because he was tossed there by the Slovenian defender trying to give him a bearhug? Maybe I'm still riled up, but I think this call was every bit...

This is NOTHING, and I mean absolutely NOTHING like Bojan's disallowed goal. For Bojan's goal there was still a questionable handball, what we saw today was a ref quite literally blowing his whistle when the only even remotely questionable infractions were being commited by Slovenian players...

    Yaya Toure

5 bucks on us ending the summer with either no replacement, or an entirely unsuitable replacement.

    Yaya Toure

:( He played well today in the game against Portugal

I was on a business call when I saw the goal and I almost shouted out loud

    Sooo pumped for Pedro today!

    Yaya Toure

People are forgetting that the problem is largely that Yaya wants to leave, not just that the club wants him out. Yaya feels (deservedly so) that he should be playing 90% of games in a season, and its clear that this simply isn't going to happen at Barcelona.

So much for the group of death

    1 - Victor Valdes

He completely blew the only play that came towards him... not the best showing.

    Jonathan Dos Santos

Great to see, I have very high expectations of him in the future. Although this WC nonsense is destroying my hopes that he has a better head on his shoulders than his selfish twat of a brother.

    Juan Manuel Mata

But what is the league supposed to do? This wasn't a gradual build up towards an unfair competition, it took a mere two seasons for La Liga to see such a severe separation between second and third spots in the table.

    Juan Manuel Mata

Yes, yes and yes. Estel I understand what you're saying but Barcelona and Madrid recognizing their own vast improvements hardly counts as a campaign to stabilize the league.

    Juan Manuel Mata

Oh great this argument again. EPL is equally dominated by United and Chelsea and while the race for 3-7 is closer it doesn't say anything about the overall quality of either league. People like to think that La Liga's 3-20 teams are crap but in reality the gap is caused by the incredibly quick...

he has plenty of WC's ahead of him, don't worry.

    How did he play?

    USA

Defending was truly awful in the first half, Spector is a joke and Demerit gives every attacker at least 5 yards of space. Rest of the game was much more promising though, Torres must start in the midfield next to Bradley. It's encouraging to see the team actually using patient build up...

    MLS

NY Redbulls beat Juve 3-1 in a friendly today! Its not as if the league is currently busting out talent left and right, how could it possibly be a bad thing to have quality players finish their career here? The league is still in the process of gaining a stable fanbase and having...

    Yaya Toure

I don't think Keita is fundamental at all in the 4231, in fact he generally disappears on the left wing when we switch to that formation. Obviously Yaya shouldn't replace him there, but Keita is only really effective when he can run up and down the middle of the field.
