    Keirrison

Pretty horizontally, Montolivo pushes up a bit but they're more or less lined up side by side.

    Keirrison

Anyone notice that our recent formation is very similar to Fiorentina's 4-2-3-1?

    Wayne Rooney

In his current form he's undeniable the most reliable finisher on the planet, he simply can't seem to miss!

    Keirrison

Would love to see Jovetic at Barca, quality young player!

    Champions league 09-10

I was really pulling for Fiorentina, I've been watching them a good bit lately. Their games are always open and exciting, last night was no different.

    Keirrison

The kid has awful positioning for a supposed box poacher. He simply doesn't put himself in a position to receive the ball, always ends up standing behind defenders and not moving to space. It shows that most of the time he comes on you don't hear his name.

    Franck Ribéry

Ref screwed them over so hard in the first leg, same one that saved our bacon in the semis last year. Watching Munich today reminded me why Robben is so great yet so not great. He's such a fantastic runner with the ball and can shoot, but is so unbelievably selfish.

    Keirrison

He was anonymous against Juve but at least he's getting time as a sub.

    Rafael Van Der Vaart

To me he seems a player who is solid but isn't a game changer.

    Daniel Alves

I'm so happy he's stopped the acting, because he was awful at it lol. Unfortunately Sergi seems intent on taking over that role.

    Yaya Toure

The better defense might also be explained by Valdes not going through his annual "lose focus and make ridiculous weekly mistakes" campaign yet.
  12. iced1776

    Yaya Toure

Meta, "I trust Pep's opinion over yours" is always how you try to end these arguments but Pep is not infallible. He is capable of making bad decisions, and has made plenty (albeit usually small ones), and we personally believe that its worth giving Yaya more playing time to let him reach his...

    Sergio Canales

Are we talking about the same Giovanni Dos Santos? Because the one I'm thinking of was absolutely woeful for the entire season except for one of his last games where he scored a hat trick. I don't remember the last player who was so easily knocked off the ball, and he was very selfish to boot...

    Yaya Toure

And maybe, just maybe, one day you'll convince Meta that Busquets isn't the obvious choice for DM [/impossible]
  15. iced1776

    Yaya Toure

Don't even wanna talk about it, I was really hoping Yaya was in it for the long haul because on his game he's by far my favorite DM in the world. He is single handedly capable of shutting down the middle of the pitch when he's in top form, not to mention add a good bit of flare and passing to...

    Pedro Rodriguez

His long range lazers are exactly what Barca's attack has been missing, I just thought they would be coming from Ibra! The Malaga goal is a perfect example, the team couldn't break the defense down with its passing and the game was dwindling into a stalemate, then Pedro catches the keeper...

    Alexander Hleb

And how much playing time does he think he'll get here? He'll just start complaining again next season, I don't want him back.
  18. iced1776

    Sergio Busquets

You're acting like Busquets wasn't (almost) as equally disastrous in that game, the only reason the team bounced back after Yaya came out was because Iniesta moved back to his useful position.

    Keirrison

I fall asleep for the last 20 minutes of the game and miss two goals and Keirrison's performance...

    1 - Victor Valdes

Ha I wonder if he did that on purpose. Supposedly he's quite the pianist!
