    Sergi Roberto

Thought he was a bit better than Rafinha as they swapped AM and CF spots in the first half, a few bad touches but he was aggressive which is always nice to see!

    Thierry Henry

He was sitting next to Federer at the Arsenal - Dortmund CL match this past week as well, apparently they're good buddies these days.

    Rafael Márquez

I know everyone here probably still has fond memories of his years with the club, but this dude no longer has the athleticism to be playing professional soccer. Did you see the goal Toronto scored Irv? Rafa gives up the ball on a simple 10 yard pass, moves like molasses to catch up to the...

    Thierry Henry

Our team would be garbage without him this year, he can still finish and is the only one on our team capable of distributing the ball. Because of his age and a chronic achilles injury he does a lot of walking around during the game which can be frustrating, but as long as he can put in moments...

Your stadium will look great from the pics I've seen! Any guys playing for you this year that you think will stick around next year?

    Rafael Márquez

He was boo'ed the other day mostly out of frustration that our team gave up 3 goals in 15 minutes, despite none of them being his fault really. He was singled out specifically because he has shown very little hustle this season, he'll often get beat on the dribble or forget to cover his mark...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Gotta love seeing Di Maria go in for a red card worthy challenge, then pretend that he's been slapped in the face after being confronted by Levante players... Madrid players and fans cannot say a thing about Barca players diving while they have that man on their roster, he has to be guilty of...

    Ibrahim Afellay

The funny thing is that the comment he quoted was a reference to the quality of the posts on the board and nothing to do with the team, this guy dalitis obviously has a major hate-boner for Affelay for whatever reason. I really don't see any reason to dislike this Affelay... he's a pretty young...

    Rafael Márquez

Im actually hoping he moves back up into the midfield, his tackling is still alright its just his foot speed that has completely disappeared. A few games back he got burned in a straight footrace so badly by the striker that Rafa simply shoved the guy to the ground in the box, luckily MLS refs...

    Rafael Márquez

Unfortunately he's showing some serious signs of aging this season. He's getting injured more, is taking a lot longer to recover from them, and has pretty much zero pace left. He still plays long balls better than anyone in MLS but defensively he's been kind of a nightmare for our team.
  11. iced1776

    Seydou Keita

He obviously can't play the one touch game as well as La Masia products, but at the same time how many times do you see him losing the ball because he took too long to get rid of it? Almost never, and even if he is a bit slow from that position you can hardly say he's killing the team's...

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Important to point out that Yaya is much faster than Sergi or Masch, he had an uncanny ability to chase down players in the middle of the field and break up dangerous counter attacks before they reached our back four. That's why to this day I think he should have played against Inter in the 3-1...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

I usually watch Madrid games throughout the year but I will not be putting a second of my time watching people (and I mean people, not players) as classless as Mourinho, Marcelo, Pepe, and Ramos. They deserve to be spit on every single game.

    MLS

I can't believe what a mess Winter made of Toronto's season, he chose to play without an actual striker for the entire first half of the season. At least now they're being active in making signings where they need em.

    Thierry Henry

For anybody interested, he's been tearing it up in New York after getting booed by fans early in the season. Currently leads the league in scoring and is tied for most assists on the team.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Bench him please, providing off the ball runs and nothing more does not cut it on this and especially at this level of our most important competition.
  17. iced1776

    Sergio Busquets

After his bullshit antics actually got Motta thrown off last year against Inter, I'd be surprised if he ever stopped. Aside from the fact that he's a fully grown adult and all (physically at least), the antics are especially annoying because its all any non-Barca fan is willing to talk about..
  18. iced1776

    Gabriel Milito

Goal wasn't his fault though, Iniesta was lazy chasing the ball down after he lost it and both Pique and Alves were (yet again) caught too far up field.
  19. iced1776

    Ibrahim Afellay

Who wrote this? Have they listened to a single interview Affelay has done? He constantly states that he's amazed he is even playing as much as he is now, as he didn't expect to really be included in the squad until next season. He speaks highly of Pep as well...

    Juan Agudelo

Henry has taken a special interest in the kid, he's stayed after training to work with him personally on taking on defenders  Agudelo's skills are way beyond anything Altidore could do, the only thing I haven't seen from him yet is the ability to really solidly hit a shot, although his...
