    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Plenty of LB there, no idea if any of them is good enough for a backup role at least. Same with CDM. I wonder if there is someone from those they see as good enough for us. Neves, Kessie could be veteran presence in midfield too. Eric Martel was vaguely linked to us when Flick was announced to...

    Julián Álvarez

Kane & Halaand, along Mbappe, are a league of their as no9. And one of them is old, with another one being debated on whether he is a CF or not. You can't make those the bar for comparison, it is a very exclusive club atm. He is more in the bracket of Isak, Ekitike, Lautaro & Osimhen of the world.

    Florian Wirtz

Great skill, but it I think making it own goal was the right decision

    Kylian Muppet

They brought Doue, Kvara, Neves and Pacho after he left. Add to that the continued development of Vitinha, Barcola and Mendes and extra year of competent coach. They became a team when they finally added 4 World class starters to replace their best players. PSG failed to do that for 7 years...

    Deco

Considering how toxic Catalan media are, it isn't bad to throw them a bone "interview " every now and then. Annoying for the fans, though

    Florian Wirtz

Coutinho first half season was great, 16 goal & assist in 22 games. He didn't look like a bust or embarrassing until after the World Cup

    Basketball/NBA

Morant is worse, at least with the other two it is partying and women, an old tale that we all know. Morant is just obsessed with guns and being gangster

    Basketball/NBA

Ben was an all NBA team and 3 times All-star and one of the best defenders in the league, probably the best guy to ever guard Luka just by himself. He was scoring 15-17 ppg while having 7+ assists while being elite defender, 4 playoffs appearances including 2 EC semifinals. Zion is 2 times...

He is the new Ben Simmons, except with partial guarantees he has to pretend he cares.

    Nico Schlotterbeck

That is the first hurdle for any potential transfer tbf. We managed to convince some and fail with others.

    Nico Schlotterbeck

There is going to be a domino effect on the market starting with free agents. Liverpool won't be in for Nico if Konate renews and/or Guehi signs for them. Unlikely for Bayern or RM if Upamecano is there, etc. Once dust settles for those many of the potential competitions won't be there. If we...

    Real Madrid

He is going to Lyon on loan next month. He has talent clearly, but he was always an odd profile. Short and slow striker, that is a profile that we haven't seen succeed at highest level for very long.

    4 - Ronald McDonald Araújo

This is what I was thinking, and some reports now is that he wasn't at his best state mentally before the Chelsea game. It seems he had an issue and this game was just the last straw for him, or maybe he realised that he can't contribute while he is at this mental state. I keep going back to...

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Not in Egypt though, and surely not Ahly tbf. They have even rejected real offer from Barca before for one of their talents (around 2000, current club president was vice president back then). Mainly because they are stupid enough to think the talent will make it big and they can sell him for...

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Folks here (Egypt) liked him in the U-17, I didn't manage to watch him tbh. You never know at this age group, though. He was heavily linked to move to Germany (Stuttgart iirc) even before the tournament, so you can fairly say he has enough talent to go to European youth systems.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Egyptian sources says our interest is real, but it is still "oral" one, no official offer. Ahly understands that players at that age don't cost much but aiming for significant resale percent. (Egyptian clubs has historically demanded insane fees for their talents btw)

    Jude Bellingham

He is a box to box, at best when he is free roaming (I mean that where almost every player with attacking talent will play his best) but he can be very good in a more conservative role. He lacks ability to be controlling midfielder and doesn't have one to hide that

    Jordi Alba

Alba was still very serviceable in his last year here, you could argue he could have continued in Europe in lower level team, like a midtable liga club. I mean if Marcos Alonso is still getting minutes there, so could have Alba. However, it isn't for every player preference to do that...

    Copa Libertadores

Brazil has 4.5 times the population of Argentina and around 3.5 times the gdp. It is normal that they have far more money and talent in the league. I would say they are just meeting their potential finally, rather than this being a problem from Argentinian clubs

    Camp Nou

There will be delays, but I think their most important goal is for the whole thing is to be ready and over (with no construction remaining in the area) by the 2030 WC which I think is more than doable.
