    I agree but I can't see that happening. I expect him to score lots of goals next season for them.. Cavani scored 49 for PSG last season so it shows the level over there. They'll win the league and cup for sure, regarding the CL I can't see them going further than quarters but knowing our luck...

    I speak for myself but i'm sure others have the same view... I haven't and never will watch one game from Ligue 1.. nothing against it either, my feelings towards it are completely neutral. A bit like the Chinese league, however many star players they end up with they will never have that...

    Showed more in that friendly last night than Gomes did the whole of last season and that's not an exaggeration. He can actually play the ball forward, through the lines of midfield.

    If we rebuild our midfield you don't stand a chance. We were shocking defensively and in possession in that first leg, every Barca fan would admit you dominated us from start to finish. Would never happen again as seen in the 2nd leg when we played a different midfield which was STILL a poorly...

    Honestly if it was any other 22 year old vs Rakitic i'd agree with you. Rakitic did have an under par season, probably not helped with the rotations Lucho did. But i've never seen as many bad performances by a starting midfielder as Gomes ever for Barca, I just cannot see the potential in him...
