Everything in Europe these past couple seasons will be forgotten if now the squad is stable and strong we make a serious run next season. Xavi needs to learn from his weak points, mainly treating Europe as if it's LaLiga when the level is much higher there. But he has improved the team a lot in...

Well to be fair to Jammy he also was bang on about many of the players who he said would become important and that we were underestimating the level of eg Dembele, Mats, FDJ etc. What do you know now we have a decent tactical structure and a competent manager the squad is performing to its level.

It might be a while before we can spend again. CL/EL situation really hurt our income this season and we're gonna have to sell big to make any new signings next summer. Then we play next season at Montjuic. Hopefully we can make a deep Europe run next year to help the coffers a bit.

I really doubt we can improve much on Ferran/Roberto/Kessie as bench options. The first was a rotation option for City, a team with unlimited money, but not good enough for bench here? Roberto been a rotation player in better Barca teams, then Kessie is proving he's solid and was a starter in...

Not really sure about that. After MATS's incredible season so far there is no goalkeeper gap for the moment, our defense is far better than theirs, attack maybe equal (everyone fully fit) then Real better midfield. However credit has to go to Xavi for knowing to keep Dembele, MATS in the team...

    Xavi Hernández

Well, the midfield and attack aren't riddled with injuries. We have one midfielder and one attacker out at the moment. In general, with a system that's this intense with full pitch pressing almost the whole game, you are probably not gonna have your best 11 available that much and indeed no...

    Federico Valverde

I responded to exactly what you said IE 'Valverde too busy winning leagues' in comparison to Frenkie. Didn't mention anything about my personal opinion on LaLiga. Clearly Valverde is not too busy winning the league being 12 points behind.

    Federico Valverde

Definitely showed up yesterday when we extended our lead to 12 points right? Frenkie just has more dimensions to his game.

    Karim Benzema

Madrid going to need to get a lot younger if want to compete with Barca's intensity over next years. Benzema, Nacho, Carvajal, Kroos, Modric all need to go.

    Federico Valverde

He's very fast and has a great shot on him.. Not a lot other than that and has had a pretty bad season so far. Would have expected him to be more advanced yesterday with Madrid going long more.

    Karim Benzema

Barca set up with a very high, aggressive defending line. He doesn't move enough nor is fast or strong enough to do much against that without help. Physically he's almost completely done by looks of it, getting injured almost every game and can't do anything without ball to feet.

    3 - Alejandro Balde

We better not. This 4 man midfield has brought the best out of everyone. Busquets is much more protected, Frenkie has freedom to move between the lines... And plus since we switched to it we barely concede anymore. We conceded too much with the 433.

For us to choke the title we need to 7W - 1D - 4L in 12 games whilst Madrid need to win 12 games in a row. And Madrid are not going to do that anyway. It's won.

    Carlo Ancelotti

It is natural for the level to drop a bit after 70-80 minutes of full intensity pressing and sprints. Even then, we still didn't allow anything other than the Asensio goal (close tbf, but offside).

    Xavi Hernández

In the end, we deserve to be champions. We showed character and fight and intensity this whole season and have fought for every result. It kind of sucks that we have to wait 2 months till we officially win it but meh. Champions!

    Carlo Ancelotti

Ten Hag after 1 game against Barca - 'Barca are very proactive and play with a high defending line, we have to exploit the spaces behind it'. Seems like something simple... But he worked out in 1 game what Ancelotti still hasn't worked out after all this time.

    Xavi Hernández

If we're honest, Madrid have given us less problems than a lot of other Liga teams. In a lot of other games I would say we don't deserve the win (Bilbao, Getafe, Osasuna, Celta...) but today we fully deserved it and did in past games against Madrid too.

    Carlo Ancelotti

Madrid are not even guaranteed 2nd. They are only 5 points ahead of Atleti and Atleti are in super form right now. Poor poor league season by Madrid.

    Carlo Ancelotti

Madrid deserved -3 points from that game. I think he is just confused why Vini and Benzema can't score if they get the ball in the final third unlike against some other teams. Its been proven and demonstrated again and again and again that this tactical setup suffers against the long ball yet...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Mate, 9 goals conceded in 26 games is what's winning the league. Not Lewandowski. His attitude and commitment is admirable, he's pressing and working his arse off so in that regard important for the team, but not 'winning the league' lol.
