    Premier League 2022/2023

Just because the flaw was hidden before doesn't mean it isn't there. Can clearly see he can't carry the ball and is slow just more exposed in a worse team and higher level. As jamdav noted above can probably do much better with some legs next to him to open up space and give him time on the ball.

    Premier League 2022/2023

Enzo is a flawed player. His base technical skills are great but he is seriously inagile and slow, he is basically unable to carry the ball, I don't think I've seen him go on one decent dribble since he joined Chelsea. If he gets the ball it's already left his feet in the next 2 seconds. Just a...

Squad quality relative to the league is most relevant. Check top scorer list for LaLiga now and any list from like 2017 backward. Guys like Joselu are competing for Pichichi at the moment, in 2015 he wouldn't even make top15 in his life. League used to be far better so have to consider that as...

If Madrid had shortened the gap to 5-6 points at the moment it is most likely they end up winning it with the injuries and 'slump' in form we have recently. At this point last season they had 66 points, 7 more than their current of 59, so their league performance has definitely been worse. Very...

    6 - Gavi

I add the caveat that he does have significant technical ability. My main problem with him is never wants to show it and just running into people and acting a hard man every game.

    6 - Gavi

To be honest I think out of the best 11 he is one of the most replaceable. That he never gets injured isn't that relevant if he isn't adding much when he plays anyway other than work rate. There are plenty of workhorse ballwinner midfielders out there and many better than him. MATS, Dembele...

    İlkay Gündoğan

Yeah... Likes of Ferran and Fati are on world class level wages whilst contributing almost nothing. We said we left those type of contracts behind with Laporta but clearly we haven't. Still giving out big long contracts to meh players.

    İlkay Gündoğan

He is a great player. Feels like if he comes here though he will regress like every previously rated player does and people will say he was never good in the first place.

Iniestagoat taking out us cartoons one by one. Don't mess with the cartoon slayer.

Hold your horses. Sevilla didn't win. They were dominated the whole game and scraped a draw from 2 own goals.

I think Juventus and Allegri is a very good comparison. They suffer a lot basically every game but more often than not come out with the win against logic. Been winning games in Serie A the exact same way pretty much the whole season, with 1 goal wins almost every game. Without that huge...

    Europa League

United should be able to win the second leg. Controlled this game but conceded 2 stupid goals whilst Sevilla didn't really create anything. However, seeing a Segunda team as seed 1 in Champions League would be historic and hilarious. Imagine drawing a second division team as your seed 1. Hope...

He is quality, just a shame he gets injured so much because he can really do it all.

Man United who are the 4th in England have now easily knocked out : - Barcelona - Real Betis - Sevilla All in a row whilst having several other competitions to manage for. LaLiga is sadly declining very hard.

    Xavi Hernández

Xavi's best point so far into his tenure is firmly backing MATS and Dembele when 99 percent of fans would have released them for free at the end of last season. They then went on to be key players in a league winning season and undoubtedly two of our best players. Did get rid of Pique and Alba...

He's not the worst coach out there at all. Fair few worse than him have passed through top clubs. Just don't think he is a top level manager and not with the likes of ETH or Pep at the moment.

Arteta was 8th at this point into his rebuild. I agree that we should see Ten Hag competing for the title after 3 years of management like Arteta did, but hasn't even been close to that long yet.

If people on here were so desperate to dog Xavi they would be agreeing with Serghei and talking about how terrible ETH is as just makes him look worse for losing to him. But we're not. Ironically the shoe is on the other foot.

You play Madrid 2 times out of 40. Most games in Spain are against fodder teams with negative net spend who come out playing for 0-0 every game. It's not as competitive as the Prem and I'm not sure even the most ardent Xavi backers on the forum think LL is comparable to Prem.

    Xavi Hernández

Yeah so I guess the guy managing the team top of my local Sunday league is just as good as Xavi then since both first place. Anyway, painting out ETH to be this mediocre manager just reflects worse on Xavi for going out against him with a better squad.
