    Erling Haaland

He's a 40 goal a season striker. Which team wouldn't fit that? Barca isn't gonna play like this for that long anyway. Messi will probably not be around anymore by the time Haaland would come and how many other frequent scorers do you currently have?

    Erling Haaland

Oh okay, well his dribbling is definitely the least exciting thing about him. He gets around that by doing runs that leave him with little to no opposition to dribble past. Doesn't really take on players (except at full speed where he is hard to stop), when he gets the ball somewhere in...

I mean, I don't think dribbling really breaks busses. I think it tends to do more of the opposite actually. Usually speed, set pieces and - in most cases - simply luck can open such games. Whereas very technical teams tend to hog onto the ball very often which often results in playing out...

Don't think BVB is out for that. He'll probably break it anyway, but you don't bring a player into the game just for a record. He's already the most hyped youth player I've ever seen, if there's anything this kid needs less of it's even more hype and pressure. Dortmund has to ensure a safe...

Gladbach legit topping a group they were tipped 4th in.

That's just the release clause. This is a Raiola deal, there will be huge sign on clauses, agent fees, insane wage demands all sparked through bidding war and eventually we end up with only 2-3 clubs who are even close to be able to afford this.

    Erling Haaland

Release clauses usually just mean lots of competition from other clubs, insane wage biddings, agent fees and sign on clauses that are essentially the height of full on transfer fees. And Mino Raiola is the one who's doing the negotiations here, so yeah haha.

came in for the last 7 minutes. Youngest BuLi player ever.

On the bench tonight vs Hertha. Don't think he will debut yet, but maybe if Dortmund is up by a 3-0 in the 70th minute he will see gametime.

That's a weird take, why Eastern European? Just because of Lewandowski? I don't think Haalands nationality or ethnicity would be any issue whatsoever, but wether Bayern would make a better offer than any other teams in for him.

    EURO Qualifiers

DFB does care, but it doesnt matter anyway. Noone in Germany watches this shit anymore, everyone is on the same page that Loew and the DFB have been sucking the life out of the German NT both on and off the pitch. TV ratings at all time lows and by now you can tell through the interviews even...

4D-underwater-Majong-Move from Loew to have fans tune into NT games again by letting them get historically spanked. Can't wait to see him extent his contract for 2 more years

I mean "cautious" would mean that they'd rather slow the game down and do not try anything fancy, but I don't see that that was the case. You saw on both sides Davies and Kehrer getting constantly flooded by opponents and forced to errors. It was a destructive game, meaning that end-to-end...

But first half was very pressing intensitive with both teams loosing countless balls in their own half, and that did lead to Mbappe and Di Maria's misplaced shot, Lewy hitting the post and heading it at Navas from 5m out. It was the 1-0 that calmed the match down for the remainder of it.

PSG was playing almost the same system. Only Neymars chance really came from a quick long ball. CL final was both teams outpressing each other, but PSGs intensity was gone after 30-40 minutes and they lost countless balls in their own half before and especially after that aswell.

It does. Not particular in this game which was meh by Bayern, but when it mattered and the squad was fit it did work.

    Bundesliga

Well yeah they do, but remember also that high line is also the fundament of their pressing approach. You can get away with a few long balls behind the defense and hope your striker gets there before Neuer, but how often do you loose the ball in your own half in the progress of trying that?
