    Rafinha Alcantara

Got a goal (deflected), probably the best dribbler on the field after iniesta, played some good passes but also made a couple silly mistakes. I would've rathered to see him in midfield, he works much better there imo.

    Sergi Samper

Samper looked amazing out there, but he looks much more like Xavi than he does Busquets, idk if he will be able to handle being lone DM for the first team but he already looks good enough to make the jump as CM.

Copa del Rey: SD Huesca - FC Barcelona 0-4

Would've rathered Sandro in and Rafinha in midfield, This is effectively a 4 man midfield as Rafinha spends most of his time level with Iniesta/Rakitic when he's on the wing.

    Daniel Alves

He looks kind of like Alba when defending, running back and just bumping the opponent off the ball or snatching it before they know whats what.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Not in front of him but right next to him on the goal side applying pressure, so he had to shoot between the defender and neuer and get it in, not something out of his abilities but certainly not a one on one sitter situation.

    Luis Enrique

Even if he used 2 CDMs Xavi wasn't the right choice as the no 10, He had Rafinha, Messi and Iniesta, hell even neymar, who can all play that position better than the current Xavi. Xavi was unfortunately marked out because he can't dribble like Rafinha can to charge forward and unlock space for...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

It wasn't one on one he had defenders on him. Higuain was one on one and he had another chance messi initiated that he couldnt stay onside for.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

What about Messi's vision thats only matched by iniesta? Time after time in the World cup and throughout the year he's been laying goals on platters for his teammates that are regularly squandered along with his otherworldly dribbling and goalscoring ability. And I hate when people say messi had...

    Luis Enrique

There may in fact be a method to his madness, but rotations is one thing, changing the system is another. Against Sevilla he played Xavi-Rakitic-Busi but against APOEL he played Rafinha-Rakitic-Mascherano. Different players but the same system and it works well and will probably work well if...

    Luis Enrique

I'd say he isn't that stubborn though, he said a couple weeks back that he's not entertaining the idea of a double pivot and here it is, dude is just crazy.
  11. D

    Rafinha Alcantara

It got kind've hectic but from the moment he came on for xavi our intensity shot up.

    Luis Enrique

He had the formula, fucked it up. Team immediately played better when He got rid of the double pivot and the attack got even better when he threw rafinha on. Stick to your formula Lucho.

Lliga: Valencia - FC Barcelona 0-1

I think Rafinha might've been better than Xavi in this instance, but then again Xavi without defensive duties is amazing.
  14. D

    Adama Traore

Exactly, his role for Barca B right now is basically Alves's role for the first team since he doesn't cut in, he's effectively playing as a right midfielder, once he is disciplined enough to track back all the time Lucho should seriously consider starting to integrate him into the first team...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

If its not about politics then why is Ronaldo winning for doing nothing in the world cup and letting Di Maria, Modric and Ramos win the CL for Madrid? Why is Neuer so much more deserving than Muller? or Lahm? or Hummels? or Kroos?

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

We already have some that measure up, Munir, Sandro, Adama and Deulofeu all have more potential than pedro had. Samper looks to be as good as Busquets and/or an adequate xavi replacement. We had Thiago that definitely was xavi's replacement. Bartra is better than pique right now, and with time...

    Gerard Deulofeu

Better striker but I'd say they're equal in terms of potential.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Midfield still needs to step up, Finishing still needs to step up. Messi lays way too many chances on that are always missed.
  19. D

    Adama Traore

This can work if paired with the right movement, Mascherano would have to act as a Dm and a CB to provide passing options in the midfield so Messi doesn't have to spend all his time in midfield and can focus on scoring as well.
  20. D

    Adama Traore

He's perfect :worthy: ,I'd say change to a 3-4-3 and stick him in there but we'd have to work out the balance on the left side and whether or not to play Alba or a 3rd CB and lose the width on the left side.
