Complete opposite of Tata actually, tata could analyze a game before hand but if it doesnt work he was basically fucked. Lucho seems really hit or miss beforehand but makes good tactic calls and subs to turn it around.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Well honestly when Messi is in this type of form and he has his subordinates (Pedro/Neymar/Suarez/Iniesta) playing well too its virtually impossible to keep him off the scoresheet, the only way really is when he's having bad luck and hitting the post ala 2012 vs chelsea.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

And 5-0 against all the top 4

    Rafinha Alcantara

The calls for Bartra were valid given that Pique constantly fucked up.

    Rafinha Alcantara

He could've come on as a sub and rested Xavi. He didnt have to start nor should he have.

Lliga: FC Barcelona - RCD Espanyol 5-1

The team is built around Messi so of course he'll be the one most involved. All tactics are first formed around the central idea of bringing the most out of Messi, thats just how it is in Barca. There are goals that don't involve him but the team is a vehicle built to be driven by him, like it...

Overrated my ass, kid has talent.

    Luis Enrique

Believe it or not, improvements have been coming, slowly but surely. Messi back to his best, defense has been on point (aside from today). Alves has stopped destroying the midfield. Alba is on some godlike form. The things that are missing right now are consistency in movement from the team...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

    More like Messi 2012. :worthy:

    Pedro Rodriguez

Hopefully he keeps it up, if he does he'll have a place here.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

If we finally nail down a proper midfield system then he will.
  12. D

    Rafinha Alcantara

Yeah it sucks, cause once Xavi leaves this season, we're going to have to rely on the likes of Rafinha and Samper to fill the gap and thats not gonna happen unless they're integrated into the first team properly this season

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Prime Xavi holding down the midfield with Iniesta is probably the main difference. The team itself makes it so Messi can't score hattricks more often. If this Messi was in the 2010 team he'd probably score a hattrick everygame.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

The thing bout it is, I honestly believe when he puts 100% effort into it he is impossible to close down for an entire match. Also hopefully iniesta coming back in will help the team too, we had a lot of movement in the second half, traingle type shit.

    Rafinha Alcantara

 Too bad he's suspended. Won't need him though, iniesta is bac and in form (and hopefully stays that way).

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Today I saw him run at full speed, and whenever I see him run at full speed whether it makes him score or not just makes me happy, cause that means he's giving it his all. :)

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Maybe Enrique just thinks Pedro might add more in the dying moments of a game than him?

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I'll wait for a couple more consecutive braces before I say he's back that again. But he looks it.
  19. D

    Marc Bartra

Matheiu is the better defender than him, but he has excellent distribution and attacking runs so they complement each other similar to Pique-Puyol in that Puyol made up for Pique's faults.

    Luis Enrique

I suppose he's not gonna just say that his players aren't good enough to the world, that might fuck with morale in the dressing room.
