    8 - Pedri

He has had a great season, but he still gets a bit too much credit for superficial things. People loved him against Dortmund for giving us control of the game. He did improve the calma factor, but he also came on minutes after the own goal, which had clearly taken the steam out of Dortmund...

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

For me he had four blunders yesterday. The first goal, obviously. Then his placement here on the second. Not saying he should have saved it, but look how far he was from the ball. It could have been square down the middle of the goal and he still wouldn't have got a hand to it. From that...

His placement in the goal for Borja's second :ROFLMAO:

La Liga Round 33: Barca - Mallorca 1-0

Just shut down Muriqi in a convincing fashion. For some reason we shit our pants against big tall strikers. Guirassy, Borja, Sørloth.

    23 - Jules Kounde

Seems too clumsy to do anything of value offensively. How the hell did he manage to dribble half our defense and score that goal against us...

CL Semi Final: Barca - Inter 3-3

Luckily Inter will be coming off a Coppa Italia semi against Milan and Roma in the league. That's not much better. And we have one day more of rest before the CL tie.

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

I'm relieved that we weren't eliminated. But that certainly wasn't because of our goalkeeper, who blundered just as badly as Ter Stegen has in the past. Including the two disallowed, Szczesny let in five goals, gave away a penalty, and made some ordinary blocks. I don't find much to be...

    11 - Raphinha

He has no identity when he is not in all-out-attack run-at-everything mode, which it seems he physically can't anymore this season. Looked like he had no idea what to do with the ball.
  9. BusiTheKing

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Massive saves? You mean those three or four shots the came straight at his body? The argument that other goalkeepers would have made even more blunders is not very convincing.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

We'd still need to find a new keeper then, which will most likely be pricey. Seems to be a few good names in the ranks, Yaakob, Kochen, Iker Rodriquez. But no guarantee they'll work out.

    17 - Marc Casadó

The question mark with Casado is that I suspect he's a player who needs consistent playing time to reach a high level. Which is not a role he's likely to get here. But he definitely deserves a chance to prove himself in whatever role going forward. There will be rotations and injuries.

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

Nice finish by Garrido. Still the player I'd most like to see for the first team. Hopefully he can keep clear of injuries.
  13. BusiTheKing

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

He has about a 1:1 ratio between impressive saves and serious errors. Similar level to Ter Stegen, I'd say.
  14. BusiTheKing

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

He had a nice touch over the defender towards the end but then messed up the pass. Could easily have bought himself another cameo there.
  15. BusiTheKing

    6 - Gavi

He causes a good deal of defensive instability when he comes on. When pressing he just lurches straight at the ball and is easy to pass around. He also runs into zones occupied by teammates, leaving holes in our shape.
  16. BusiTheKing

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Christ, there is some severe retconning going on here. It is now accepted truth that Ter Stegen was completely shit for all those years? That's not even remotely true. For some of those seasons, it was not an unpopular opinion that he was our next best player after Messi. I'm not saying he has...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

We weren't humiliated in the CL because of individual mistakes, by Ter Stegen nor by any other player. We were humiliated because we played arrogant football with no intensity. We were ran out of the pitch over and over again. It is a bit ironic blaming Ter Stegen for those failures, when he...
  18. BusiTheKing

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

I think if he had just stood still, the ball might have lodged itself neatly between the crossbar and the top of his head.
  19. BusiTheKing

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Actually, mistiming your steps on a corner so that you have no time to react to a potential header is an error.
  20. BusiTheKing

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Yeah just one of those unsavable headers that come straight at the keeper at average speed. So impossible to save. Especially for a 195cm goalkeeper.
