    Ibrahim Diarra

Found some good spaces and had an impact but didn't look above the competition in general ability. A lot of mistakes and sloppy play. At that level he should look a lot better if we want him to be in the conversation for first team minutes. Certainly Toni is way ahead of him.

    Transfers and Rumors

PSG going in for Mastantuono apparently. Would have hoped to see either him and Echeverri come here. If he ends up in the 50 mil range though, would also be a bit much.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

He took it right into the defender who got a poor touch on it. Ball sort of ended up in the path of Diarra's swing by coincidence.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

    Beautiful play by Quim there

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Diarra has been poor aside from the (quite lucky) goal.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Solid backline we have us. Cuenca and Espart look very comfortable carrying it forward to break the press. Nice to see.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Would like to get a better look at Fati. Should give him another shot against Valladolid.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

The key takeaway for me is that he looked more comfortable exerting his body. The stiffness and the apprehension we've previously noted in his movements were not visible. He wasn't rapid or flying around in the press (he never was), but there was an aggression in his movements going forward...

CL Semi Final: Barca - Inter 3-3

It will hurt more to lose against PSG in the final, but it will also be sweeter to win.

La Liga Round 33: Barca - Mallorca 1-0

Flick strikes me as too wholesome for those yellow card schemes.

    6 - Gavi

Constantly occupying the same zone as others. Driving me nuts. The way he over-approaches the ball holder as well. Often abandoning a good spot in order to get into rondo range with no exit strategy. His progressive passing was meh. Gets it forward but rarely seems to be thinking a step ahead...

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Looked pretty sharp out there. Physically somewhat up to par, which is a big improvement from previous cameos. Positively surprised.

    8 - Pedri

Great game. How is he still the one making runs to get us out trouble at 80+ minutes?

La Liga Round 33: Barca - Mallorca 1-0

Hope to see Raphinha rested. Guy is just a different beast with a full tank. Need him leading the pack in the Copa final. Could try Ansu/Pau Victor out there. Gavi would be fine as well.

    Who's this Kim now?

La Liga Round 33: Barca - Mallorca 1-0

Can't believe they actually gave him just one game suspension for that leg breaker. Truly suspect decision.
