    Real Madrid (old thread)

Well when the coach and players react like that... I guess a siege mentality and winning all your remaining games, or falling apart, are the only 2 possibilities now.

    Xavi Hernández

It didn't suck, it was mediocre. Most of the complaints regarding it are borne of ignorance and stupidity. Randomest tangent ever.

    Isaac Cuenca

Very useful to have someone who can actually cross. Him and Tello have given us more options which is great. More things for defenders to think about before Messi scores ;)

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

People (TELLO WTF) need to stop fucking up his gorgeous through balls so his record can be even more ridiculous :D

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Even aside from that, scoring too early against all good teams tends to wake them up a bit so you're more likely to go on to draw/lose.

Goal awards which include penalties are simply stupid. MAYBE if the player taking the penalty was the one who won it, otherwise it's daft. Getting an appearance for coming on for 30 seconds is another idiocy that should be done away with. Show their time in minutes please, not "appearances".

    Real Madrid (old thread)

A bigger pool to choose from would certainly be nice, but much more important is some transparency. The Germans having interviews with the refs on their decisions, is a step in the right direction. The whole attitude of "the ref is the LAW, he must be obeyed and not questioned!" is fucking...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

He has no chance even if Barca lose Copa & CL and Ronaldo leads Madrid to CL win. Messi's going to break his own stats record and everyone knows he's the best. Lesser players only win it when there isn't really a standout leader, or there are multiple so votes get divided (Owen ahhahahahahaha).

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Most sensible Barca fans here or wherever will happily admit that we don't deserve to be top due to our poor away form. This does nothing to change the fact that Madrid are receiving a great deal of favoritism from refs this season. It's highly unlikely it will matter in the end, but if it...

    Swansea City

They don't need to, they're safe now :) The bottom 5 are so abysmal someone could survive with ~32 points.

What position does Cesc play at Barcelona?

I want the option "pidgeonholing players into 'positions' is limiting and foolish"

    Javier Hernandez (Chicharito)

Poachers have no place at the top level of the modern game. If he can't improve his overall game he'll never be more than a super sub.

    Jose Mourinho

The Daily Fail should always and without hesitation be ignored.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Well, I think it's 3 things: 1) Pedro pulling a Torres 2) Villa breaking his leg 3) Madrid do have better players on the bench, at least for now. Tello etc are super exciting. If even one of those didn't happen I think we'd be roughly equal there. No matter, if we win the CL everyone will...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

We've all been going on about how he's not been at his best and he's still going to demolish his previous best season  What a genius.

    Gerard Piqué

Everyone knows how it is, there's no point crying about it. It just makes victories all the sweeter. Football in general really is shamefully corrupt, sadly.

    Scott Parker

Gotta love the combination of ignorance and arrogance.

    Andrés Iniesta

Puyol had a record of ~51 games so it might be his :) Osasuna :(

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

On paper their midfield and defence is fucking shit. In reality, their midfield and defence is fucking shit. The forward line is jaw dropping, but anyone with a clue about football knows that having 1/3rd of a team doesn't amount to much.

    Scott Parker

Like two peas in a pod. The beatification of Parker sums up so much that is wrong with English football culture. Also always reminds me of Xabi Alonso's quote
