Of course Mascherano and the whole defense has part of the fault for the goal. It's ridiculous how the ball was bouncing inside our box, instead of being cleared. After that Mats failed to hold the ball, misjudging the situation and also taking his part of the fault.

Oh yeah, club never avoided trips to a player. First time in our history.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

If you wanted him to be rested, you shouldn't care the reasons for not playing (suspicious or not). It's a matter of coherence.

No, it was not. The overall idea was that Mats was RESPONSIBLE for making the saves, not being luck in those very specific situations. No one said there is not luck in the game (as Bravo showed us when saved a shot with his foot, when jumping to the other side, or even Mats with Cavani's...

Didn't say anything about winning matches, but actually CREATIVITY. We obviously can win matches without him, but even Iniesta lacks creativity nowadays, so Neymar is our key player in this very specific aspect.

Literally no one said there is no such a thing as luck. Go back several pages and read the discussion again.

Yep, he could have done better than that. He misjudged the situation a little bit. But so many things were wrong in that play that it's hard to blame only him. Also, he has credit with us right now.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

No Neymar, no creativity. Now let's see the very same folks that asked him to be rested now bad mouthing him for being out of the match for suspicious reasons (which I agree they are).

    Rafinha Alcantara

Great point. Just like Neymar, he can receive a ball very deep on the pitch, with his back to the opponent's side and also being pressured, that I still can be calm.

    CL | Round of 16 - 2nd Leg: FC Barcelona - Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 (6-5 agg.)

That's what I thought when Iniesta passed the ball on the other penalty. Still an obstruction inside the box (aka penalty) if he wasn't going to reach the ball.

    CL | Round of 16 - 2nd Leg: FC Barcelona - Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 (6-5 agg.)

If not by the opponent's hand, Neymar would get to the ball in a blink of eyes. Just look at the other penalty, how Iniesta's ball also looked "away". And yes, he went down easily but that shouldn't be taken in account. An obstruction is an obstruction.

Definitely a penalty on Neymar. Clear hand over his chest denying him to progress, but I understand the ref not seeing it. Still a clear penalty not given to us.
