Well, it all depends on the timeframe you want to call "now". If "now" means the last 2-3 months, they are probably right. If "now" means "last semester" or "last 12 months", then they are definitely wrong. I honestly avoid to talk about so small timeframes because everything changes too fast...

I think he is seriously overrated. But he is a Flamengo kid and I am a Vasco fan, so I am definitely a hater.

It is always difficult to say something about Messi's level because at least for me it is impossible to look only for the "NOW & HERE", I am ALWAYS going to consider everything he has done in the last 10-13 years. But yeah, even looking for just the current season I would still put Messi above...
