Very good player, no doubt. I didn't think he was all that special but he's making me change my opinion. Still don't think he'd fit in at Barcelona though. He would fit in perfectly at Manchester United or Inter, if he can adapt to the league.

I think he recently signed a long-term contract with a massive buy-out clause. So that's unlikely. I'm not so sure on Bale though. He would have to play left back in our system and his defending is too suspect. Him and Alves both surging forward would leave our defense exposed too often.

I think he already said in an interview that he wants to stay at Palermo for at least two years. Smart decision, and he's been making very good decisions in terms of his career, unlike a lot of other talented South Americans. Good to see.
