Maldini maybe. Got in the Milan first team at 16 in 1984. Still, we won't have watched him week in week out back then so we can't know how good he was at that age. He was likely class though. And if Cubarsi can have 80 percent of Maldini's career and reputation Barca will be smiling.

He's so intelligent, outstanding spatial awareness. I can't believe the lad is only 17.

Yes and it's double whammy because as the boy says, it's much easier to play dangerous shorter than long passes - so in one go you're restricting them to long balls, but you're playing so high that when you get turned you're only a pass or two away from their box (if you decide to be direct, but...

    He's been class. Solid again.

Good theory. I know Real Madrid like a long ball anyway but I watched them play a lot of straight long balls last night (where as the boy rightly says short passing is more dangerous) - those were easily cut out by Cubarsi in particular. I lost count of the amount of times Cubarsi won a high...

I know he lost the ball a few times but he had a lot of great moments too and was actively involved in creating great chances. I find it hard to believe he's much worse on days I don't watch him - especially as I watch him often against good teams in high-pressure games. I honestly think he's...

    Iñaki Peña (loaned to Elche)

Yeah he was reaching more than Di Maria thinking Adriana Lima fancies him.

    Positive Thinking Cules

Yeah, any functioning adult should put the team above all else. Ronaldo is a very odd guy, being upset when someone else on his team scores.

Haaland has a big ego, believe me - there's signs and you can tell. But I think you mean relative to narcissists like Mbappe and Ronaldo, which is fair enough.

Like the new profile pic mate. Though your photos of Laporta (real and drawn) always made me laugh too.

I like when managers get involved and mimic actions of their players on the park. I'd be the same. Heart on the sleeve.

It was offside anyway I think but yeah, still terrific.

    8 - Pedri

Love this guy as a player a lot, always have. Needs to stay free of injury and he will be a world-class player for the next 10-15 years.

Definitely, he's a class young coach.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Both lovely goals, but the header was particularly impressive. It was an amazing cross by Balde, but Lewa still had to twist his head, and use force to get more power on it to guide it into the corner. Not forgetting his little bit of movement to peel off and find space. Typical predator's goal.

    Aston Villa

@fergus90 What happened yesterday mate? How did they play? Were you able to go to the game or watch it with the 3pm blackout (IPTV)? I realise Bournemouth are not a bad team but thought you would win the game. Poor performance or unlucky? The last minute equaliser is a killer.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

That's supernatural reading of the game in that video. That Milan team are one of the best teams of all time.
