From his thread on Redcafe - worrying where football is going

So subtle yet so excellent. I must say Raphinha's touch inside absolutely kills them too. Other players might go down the line there. He brings it inside and from there Real are fucked.

    Premier League 24/25

I figured I might as well show my 'career' on Superbru so far. Overall it's pretty good with some high percentile finishes - though I have had some mediocre and poor ones too. Some of these I gave up early (eg Women's World Cup) but others like the World Cup in Qatar I had an absolute nightmare...

    20 - Dani Olmo

Yeah I honestly think it's the marketing. He doesn't seem to be on covers of FIFA games, isn't in the media much (correct me if I am wrong?) doesn't have superstar vibes as a person. He's just a really, really good footballer who doesn't really have 'star power' (whatever the fuck that means)...

    Premier League 24/25

Cheers haha. You too. Finished 1st in UK in Serie A and Europa League in same season a couple of seasons ago too. Let's be honest though, a lot of it is luck. For instance, say I predict 1-1 in a game, and it is 1-1 and someone smacks the post in the last minute - that could go from an exact...

    Premier League 24/25

It's going very well for me so far in PL predictor - usually it's one of my worse-performing games and I finish top 16-17 percent at best.

    Aston Villa

Thanks for the info mate. I used to go to Rangers games when I was younger and an adult but obviously since I stopped supporting them due to hating the bigotry in and out of the stadium I don't go. I was thinking about going to watch my local team sometimes. They're in the fifth level of...

    Premier League 24/25

Fans follow teams who get relegated from the fourth level, teams who go bust etc. I think United fans can survive with not finishing in the top half of the Premier League. I get that you mean different expectations etc, but United fans need to have some sense of perspective.

    Cole Palmer

He's brilliant. I have always said he is. He and Kane are the best English players. Also, as Andresito says, that pass was amazing and won't show up in the stats lots of people obsess over.
  10. Maradona37

    Jude Bellingham

That's the sort of thing that doesn't show up in 'stats' but has a major effect on the game.

    Premier League 24/25

As Montenegrin says, it's a good sign they're creating opportunites, but West Ham have made it so easy for them. West Ham have been so bad and offered little. Awful misses by Garnacho, Fernandes. But the Dalot miss was simply unreal. No idea why he felt he had to lift it so high as the defender...

    Aston Villa

Yeah true, of course that's what comes with being a good team as you imply - more competitions and more games. Shame to hear you missed a lot of chances. I normally think Cash is solid so sucks he made mistakes for the equaliser. Glad you went to the game anyway (do you have a season ticket?)...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Jenks taught me that the other day.

    Premier League 24/25

I think United might win 2-1, but my original prediction is 1-1. I am not altering it as if I do it will definitely finish that.
  15. Maradona37

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Ah right sorry. well you rephrased it well and I agree with what you said. Hopefully the ball will constantly 'bounce back' from the back of United's net.

    Premier League 24/25

Actually fancy Liverpool. Arsenal have quite a few players out and have been less than stellar recently. However, you know what football is like. People are praising Slot so likely an Arsenal easy win incoming, lol.

    17 - Marc Casadó

He's very impressive this young fella. Not saying anything new but his positioning and passing are brilliant as is his first touch and composure. He plays like an old head on young shoulders, like Cubarsi and Lamine. Six quality midfield/attacking midfield options at Barcelona right now.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Sane has always been an excellent winger, however he looks on the way down and is 29 now. Who would pay him 20m a year?

    Hans-Dieter Flick

That was an enjoyable post you quoted, @Loki the good thing is we can increase our tactical knowledge base further by watching what Ten Hag and Man United have in store for us in half an hour. He's a tactical genius too. The learning never stops.

La Liga Round 11: Real - Barca 0-4

He'd need a 50 inch phone or monitor to fit them all in his avatar the way it's been going since 2008 or 2009.
