That's very true, all of that. To back up the point about subjectivity, there's an argument (not that I would necessarily agree) that Lahm, Neuer and/or Schweinsteiger are German players more deserving of a placing in that list than Kroos.

I think Neuer was better than Buffon overall and if there's only gonna be one GK there, it should be Neuer. Of course they should both be there most likely. I also prefer Alisson to Courtois and Casillas but it is splitting hairs as all three were great.
