Something I notice with him too is if he realizes he's slipping (i.e. that horrible first match of the WC) he will do his utmost to make up for it, and thus he only gave up one more goal the whole rest of the WC. Granted a lot of that can also be attributed to the defense but still.

I agree... Iker is a lot of what makes the team so successful. Very loyal to the club too, can't ever see him going anywhere else. Even though I hate Madrid, as an individual player I like him a lot.
