    Nations League 24/25

10 minute delay. Was wondering if my stream was slower than someone on my 600lb life there.

    Nations League 24/25

Fair point, but Joao Neves is still playing.

    Paul Pogba

Aye Sterling was the prime perpetrator.

    Paul Pogba

Aye watched that game live. City should have been five up at half-time, then United played in moments and produced one of their fluky comebacks reminiscent of Real Madrid. What makes it worse for City is that a win would have mathematically sealed the title for them that night.

Bernardo - who's struggled all season and is likely shattered - in defensive midfield too. They'd surely be better just playing Dalot as a natural RB and even though Vitinha played four days ago, play him instead. Or even Palhinha for more energy. Watch Bernardo swho I am a big fan of) run the...

    Paul Pogba

Fair enough, some good points there.

    Paul Pogba

Yeah but when he was tasked with controlling the midfield at Man United he couldn't do it. He was always a supplementary player - a luxury player who only really excelled in one position (left of a 3 in midfield in a 4-3-3). He had his moments for France and Juve, and had some talent for sure...

    Paul Pogba

Definitely good at Juve but remember Vidal, Pirlo and Marchisio ran that midfield and he was free to just be a luxury player. The icing. He was never the cake, though.

    Nations League 24/25

Come now. We all know if Portugal win it with Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick in both games you'll be treating it like it's the World Cup :wub::)

    Ballon d'Or 2025

Yeah, good point - Argentina and Uruguay were much more dominant in the early days, especially when Uruguay were de facto 'World Champions' - due to the Olympics - in the years before the inaugural World Cup in 1930. Brazil didn't really become a world force until 1950, and even then they had...

Lol they hate Ronaldo more than King Leo and me do, it's rather funny haha.

    Portugal

Bizarre lineup for sure. Several players don't seem to be playing in their optimal positions, and won't even if it's 343/352. I really really do not rate Martinez as a coach at all. He's a spineless, weak-willed little man who bends to player power at every opportunity. He was the same at Belgium.

    Ademola Lookman

Yeah that is a good point regarding African players. I was thinking that is something for Man United to consider a drawback with Mbeumo too.

    Paul Pogba

That guy in that Twitter post is a clown. Posts a 1 minute video of Pogba trying to prove something. Pogba was average at best for Man United and all of Caicedo, Fernandez, Rice and Gravenberch have already surpassed what he did at United. He was always horrendous in tight spaces too, which is...

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Yeah obviously Lewa has been a fantastic striker in his career, but he's just too old. I know he scored plenty of goals last season but he showed his age in a lot of games I watched too. Doesn't matter who you are, you can't be a 37-year-old starting CF for FC Barcelona.

    AC Milan

Fair enough. Haven't really watched enough of him. Hopefully he has a good career in Manchester. I like Tonali a lot aye.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

    He's playing tonight v Portugal.

    AC Milan

Riejnders is good but - and I know Birdy will destroy me for saying it - he feels a bit flavour of the month (season). He could do very well at Man City but there's a good chance he flops too. Thoughts @Don Juan Laporta Estruch ?

    Ousmane Dembélé

    That's high praise indeed.

    Argentina

Fair points, and of course I indirectly alluded to the fact that South Americans teams will have an advantage with it being played in North America/the Americas generally. I guess I am just a liker of these little facts and superstitions. But you're right - history is made to be broken and it's...
