    Neymar - v2

And a great goalie like Ter Stegen or maybe Courtois in goal. Holy fucking shit. Forget about an unbeaten season, we'd win every single game with that lineup. It'd probably make our 2009 and 2011 teams look like shit. LMAO at the Madridistas who said last year that our era is over. If we manage...

    Daniel Alves

Pepe's the biggest cunt of them all. Some of them make dirty tackles (Alonso, Ramos, etc), some dive (CR, Di Maria), Pepe does both (and he's the worst when it comes to dirty tackles). He's a fucking hypocrite if he really did try to beat up that Getafe guy for diving. I know he didn't play...

    Isaac Cuenca

Agree about dos Santos and Cuenca, not sure I agree about Tello. Montoya should definitely stay.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

It'll get Cuenca more playing time. Still don't think we should have made any changes mid-season, but oh well.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Messi was probably our best player last night, aside from our defense. Of course, that isn't saying much, but he did get an assist and create some nice chances. Still though, this was definitely an off-game for him. IMO, that's what it was, not RM defending so well (though Varane did have a...

    Neymar - v2

Valdes Alves-Puyol-Pique-Alba Fabregas-Busquets-Xavi Neymar-Messi-Iniesta I can definitely see this working, though Valdes will be replaced by the time we get Neymar, and I'm guessing Puyol will be as well. Pedro and Villa are the odd men out here. They'd be great super subs, but I'm not sure...

    Marquinhos

Doesn't Muniesa fit that bill? But yes, this guy could be a great addition to the team. We should still go for a more proven CB first though. If we do sign him, let's hope he doesn't end up like our last couple of signings from Serie A :p

    David Villa

IMO, we should consistently sub Villa on, mainly for Fabregas. We shouldn't start him, at least not yet, since the current starting lineup has worked so well so far.

    5 - Carles Puyol

    This.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

    Fixed.

    David Villa

We didn't "get" anyone, we bought them and Arsenal sold them. End of story.

    Sergio Busquets

Didn't he bench Yaya Toure before Masch came? There's no way Masch was gonna replace him.

    Neymar - v2

He's probably gonna have to tone down on the tricks at least somewhat wherever he goes. Perhaps more so if he goes to Barca though.

Who will win the Champions League?

We should be fine with Pique and Puyol playing. Having the best midfield and attack in the world will certainly help too. IMO, Barca are definitely the favorites to win it, followed by Bayern, Dortmund and Juventus (in that order).

    Martin Montoya

I definitely say we should drop Alves OR Alba (keep whichever one is on-form or drop whichever one needs rest I suppose) for someone more defensive (Montoya/Abidal) whenever we use Mascherano to rest Puyol (2 attacking FBs + CDM at CB = problems). Alves-Puyol-Pique-Alba can definitely work...

    Neymar - v2

He won't be promoted (or at least become a starter) for a while anyway. And besides, having all 3 (Deulo, Messi, Neymar) up front would be awesome. Eto'o/Henry who?
  18. darthvader7888

    David Villa

We should definitely bring him on as a super-sub. It would be awesome for his 100th game for Barca to be against RM, especially if he gets a goal. And he'd be great as a super sub. Still though, we shouldn't tinker with the starting lineup that's worked so well so far this season. It's too big...

Post 2009 Barca vs 2005-06 Barca

Which team do you think is better? I don't know myself, since I didn't really watch football that much back in 05-06 :p From what I've heard though, post-2009 takes it easily.

    Best team ever?

Is the current Barca the best team ever? I'd definitely say it has a strong argument for being the best club team ever, since it's basically one of the best national teams ever + one of the best players ever.
