Forget which paper I read it in yesterday but I heard he might be rested against Roma? Kind of an... interesting match to choose to rest him for though, probably safer to do it against smaller teams but what can you do if he needs it I guess.

Pirlo's not been having a great season so far either (by his standards), though I think that's more down to the fact that opponents figured out they have to contain him to have a shot at any result, than anything he is doing "wrong". He's probably tired too which contributes.

Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel are all alpha drivers. None of them have or would cope well with a competitive teammate.

Muniesa is injured that's why we haven't heard much about him. Bartra is ready IMO. As for young GK's I'm not a fan of Oier, I think Masip is better but Eusebio apparently doesn't agree.

Briatore fixed the race so Alonso would win. Alonso had pitted a lap before so when the safety car came out after the crash, everyone else used the opportunity to pit but Alonso didn't have to so he shot in front. What probably happened was Briatore threatened to fire Piquet if he didn't do it...
