    Neymar - v2

I believe he also can't play on the right. And Iniesta's taking up the LW spot. Still though, Villa should definitely be getting more playing time.

    Neymar - v2

Isn't he a midfielder. But if we can get him cheap, why not. Could add some depth to our midfield. A few have suggested Aguero (and I've even seen a few reports linking him to us). It'd be a good signing, albeit expensive, providing us another goalscorer to take the pressure off Messi...

    Neymar - v2

Maybe we could bench him for a year to get him used to Barca and La Liga.

    Neymar - v2

To be fair, Brazil's whole team played badly. Still though, Neymar does need to step it up against good defenses if he wants to go to Barca.

    David Villa

It's probably gonna be Neymar and not Aguero though. For one, our chances of getting Neymar are way better. And I'm not sure about benching Cesc. Him with Iniesta on the wing has been beastly this season. And I don't think Montoya will replace Alves so soon. Maybe by the 2014-15 season. Btw...

    Neymar - v2

IMO it's: 1. Spain 2. Germany 3. Argentina (I hear their midfield and defense suck though. If that's the case, their attack is gonna have to carry them)/Brazil (they have a bunch of good players: Thiago Silva, Alves, Marcelo, Neymar, etc, etc and they are playing at home)

Bayern and FC Barcelona to play charity friendly in Munich on July 24

Hoping to see a Bayern-Barca CL final in 2014. Tbh, I can definitely see that happening this season AND next season.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I hear Benzema and Higuain have both been shit recently. I can definitely see RM offloading 1 of them, especially if they get Cavani. Isn't Bale one of their targets? I'm guessing they'll try to get him + Cavani if Ronaldo leaves.

    David Villa

Van Persie should go to La Liga this summer. To prove he can play on a warm Saturday night in Barcelona.   Can Neymar play on RW? I'm not too sure about putting Cesc on the bench. We could definitely get a nice rotation going though.

    Cesc Fàbregas

We don't really have 3 good CBs though. I doubt we can pull off a 3-4-3. We should rotate players a little more, but I don't think we should change tactics or formations. To be honest, I don't think there's really a problem with our tactics, formation or lineup. We're just off-form, and our...

    David Villa

I don't know much about the Llorente situation, but from what I've heard, Villa isn't being treated nearly as badly at Barca as Llorente is at Bilbao.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I think we should sub him off once the game is sealed.

    Who'll be Barca's next star?

Who do you think will be Barca's best player when Messi gets old? Included the 3 players that seem to be our best prospects (from what I've heard) + Neymar since he's a prospect we seem to be really interested in. IMO, it's either gonna be Deulo or Neymar.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

    Doesn't seem too serious.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Nah. We love buying from Arsenal. So if we do raid the Bundesliga... Yeah. Lame joke, I know.

    Marquinhos

Is this guy fast? Some people are saying that we should get a fast CB to deal with counter attacks.

Not sure if Bundesliga or Arsenal... If you know what I mean.

    Xavi Hernández

We can't just go throwing out weak lineups in every league game though. The league is pretty much wrapped up, but only as long as we keep winning and don't needlessly drop points. But yes, we could have rested Xavi vs Osasuna.

Apparently Puyol is only about 4cm taller. Still though, he's such a beast in the air no one notices.
