Which National Team do you support?

Hungary, and only Hungary. However I am never neutral during international competitions where Hungary doesn't qualify (note each and every one of them) and I decide who to prefer to win a match based on my dislike/hate for the side. So for example Portugal vs. Germany I will prefer Portugal but...

    State of La Liga

Virtually every country is like that in the world. Guardian did a great post putting the main title contenders for each league on a regular basis. And believe it or not, it's the same for the premier league. Manchester United and Chelsea. It's as much a two-horse race as it is in the Spanish...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Sorry Beast.. These moments only come around once in a lifetime and I had to take advantage... :D In any case, yes you're right that it will be very interesting to see how he does. I'd much rather he flopped for obvious reasons. But La Liga and Liga fans owe Real Madrid quite a lot for...

    Positive Thinking Cules

    1) Real Madrid are getting more and more disgusting by the second! 2) If we wanted to group all of the foulest football players in the world we would have to go no further than the Santiago Bernabéu 3) Real Madrid got ripped off and screwed inside out by Manchester United 4) The EPL is losing...

Champions League Final 2009: FC Barcelona vs ManUtd: Champions of Europe!

Nope, next match would be in September. They're currently third in the group, level on 9 points with Sweden, 4 behind Hungary and 7 behind Denmark. Albania and Malta though are out of the running, so for now it's just a 4 horse race.

    Sergio Agüero

Alrighty :p I try my best to stay away from the speculation, but you can't really cause I may as well get myself off the forum for a bit, and I can't do that... So all it is for now is no football websites, aside from fcbarcelona.cat, unless absolutely necessary once every two days or so.

Who's Shirt Will You Wear 09/10?

Other than somewhat knowledgeable and above Barca fans, everyone else would just think there's been a massive spelling mistake.

Well obv cause the EPL only works when rich mother sheiks and mafia bosses come in, and usually the clubs are unhealthy financially either way...

    Sergio Agüero

This is precisely what I mean - in fact i don't even intend to say "splash the cash" cause we don't have cash to splash! * I'd just like to mention that it is in fact possible that we will have a couple of huge players coming. But it would have to be in such a way that one of them is financed...

    Sergio Agüero

So what would happen to Bojan? * Anyway why splash the cash on two forwards when we could just have Henry, Iniesta and Bojan sharing the left, a new CF and Bojan sharing the centre, and Messi and Pedro or any of our first teamers capable of playing on the right as our rights.

    Sergio Agüero

And then we'd have an aged Henry as our only forward above "midget" height classification.

    Sergio Agüero

If they got a decent price for Kun then they wouldn't be losing too much at all. They could use that to invest in 3-4 quality players (let's say he went for around 40ME) and they would do well balancing the team out. So long as Forlán stayed for them. Agüero hasn't been all that important in...

    Frank Rijkaard

Well strictly speaking, no, because he was born in the Netherlands. But in terms of heritage he is Surinamese, he's from South America, yes.

    Sergio Agüero

Hah I think Agüero's worst possible option would be a move to Chelsea. I honestly don't see him succeeding in England.
