    Marc Bartra

He will partner Pique in the first leg against Bayern, as Puyol, Masch and Adriano are all out. Adriano will be back for the second leg though, and the other 2 might be. I think he'll do a decent job against Bayern, as he did when he came on for Adriano in the second leg against PSG. And tbh, I...

    Martin Montoya

I think the reason Montoya hasn't played that much is because Tito didn't want to rest Alves or think he needed to. After all, the dude does have crazy stamina. Still think Montoya should get more playing time, especially in his natural position.

    Cesc Fàbregas

This. People need to remember that he was great in the first half of the season and part of the reason the 13 point gap exists. He's off-form now, but people need to stop acting like he's complete shit or needs to be sold.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I'm guessing it's Hummels or Ter Stegen

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I believe he'll be ready to start against Bayern at the latest.

    Thiago Translantara

Wait... why should Xavi, Messi and Villa not start against Bayern? Coz that's what'll happen if Thiago, Cesc, Tello and Alexis all start...

    Cristian Tello

Tello's done well this season, and has been a lot more consistent, but Pedro has shown that he's still a big game player. Against RM, France, PSG, etc. I can see why Pedro's being started over Tello in big games. Still though, I wish Tello were on the bench over Sanchez.

    Thiago Translantara

I didn't follow the game, but I'm glad to hear the youngsters, especially Thiago, impressed.

    5 - Carles Puyol

If there's a chance of him being back for the 2nd leg against Bayern, it seems like his recovery is going well. I'm guessing he'll at least be back for the final (assuming we make it, of course).

    Van Pensie

    Sergio Busquets

Eh, the only area where we really have problems is the defense. Only things we absolutely need are a new CB and a new GK since Valdes is leaving. Though I wouldn't mind a couple more buys (perhaps another CB?) for depth.

    Neymar - v2

Pedro hasn't been that great this season, but he's shown that he's still a big game player. Scored the crucial goal against France in the world cup qualifiers and a great goal against PSG (which was also crucial) in the CL quarter finals.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

    Fixed :p

Your Barca / Bayern XI - judged on 2012-13 Seasons form only

Considering Messi was able to play against PSG and his recovery time was said to be 10 days, I'm pretty confident he'll be at 100% for the Bayern game. I don't know much about Busquets' injury, so I won't comment on that. 12 players? #uefalona #uefayern

    Mario Gotze

I never said that he's not awesome or the biggest steal ever. I just think he's a tad overrated. But hey, maybe that's just me being a biased Barca fan :p And he's French like Varane :p In all seriousness though, the CB we buy will probably be thrown straight into the starting lineup, and...

Your Barca / Bayern XI - judged on 2012-13 Seasons form only

Pique (for example) hasn't been that great this season, but putting Busquets (who, while probably the best DM in the world, sucks at CB) there over him? Seriously? And I don't know about Bayern's other CBs, but I doubt they're that bad considering Bayern's defensive record, especially in the...

    Mario Gotze

He's easily the best young CB in the world but I agree that he's a tad overrated.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

It has a better chance of happening than De Gea. Especially if Spurs don't make the top 4. I agree though, it's unlikely. Especially considering that knowing Spurs, they'll probably ask for a shitload of cash.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Yup, I think that's the way to go. De Gea could be the best option IMO, but he'd also be the most unlikely. The only (somewhat) experienced keeper I can see us getting who's at the level we need is Lloris.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I'm guessing it's 2-3 new starters depending on whether Villa decides to leave or stay.
