Only good one I can think of is De Gea. And that's only based on his performance against RM, I haven't seen much of him otherwise. If we can't get him (it's unlikely we will), I hope we go for a non-Spanish GK.

Yeah, I think Bartra will do a decent (probably not amazing, but decent) job in the first leg against Bayern. The second leg as well, if Masch and Puyol aren't back. He did a decent job against PSG, especially the second leg.

He's also had great games in the Xavi role, especially when he's had Iniesta alongside him. For example, the games against Deportivo and Getafe. And the league game against Malaga (came off for Xavi for about the last 15 minutes, he got a goal and did well overall). Not exactly great sides...

While he was in the Iniesta role for the Zaragoza game, he's had great games in the Xavi role as well (i.e. against Deportivo, Getafe, the Liga game against Malaga, etc. Not exactly great sides (aside from Malaga), but neither are Zaragoza). Especially when he's had Iniesta next to him.

Apparently, he did say he's not ruling out a future move... :eusa_think: If he supports Barca, maybe he's seen our defense and wants to fix it? :lol: One can always dream, right? :lol:
