IF the rumors have truth to them. They could be BS (like those Ter Stegen signing a pre-deal rumors, for example), for all we know. I sincerely hope they are...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I hope this Guaita stuff is bullshit. Remember the rumors about Ter Stegen having signed a pre-deal? There's a good chance this Guaita stuff is bullshit just like that was.

    :xavi: and :iniesta: say hi

    Thiago Translantara

We'll probably need to use 1 defensive fullback, but I don't think we'll need a double pivot. I can see a midfield of Thiago-Busquets-Iniesta working, especially with 1 defensive fullback. Don't forget, Thiago has had good games in the Xavi role (especially when he's had Iniesta beside him)...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Didn't the media say that Barca had a pre-deal with Ter Stegen a few months ago? This Guaita stuff is probably mostly bullshit just like that was.

    Best ever Barça 11

All time Barca XI? What's your all time Barca XI? I didn't start following Barca until the Pep era, so I don't really know much about any other players. All players aside from the ones from the Pep era are here based on what I've heard about them...

Only good one I can think of is De Gea. And that's only based on his performance against RM, I haven't seen much of him otherwise. If we can't get him (it's unlikely we will), I hope we go for a non-Spanish GK.

Hopefully it's bullshit, but I agree, there are better options.

Ugh... does it always have to be someone from Valencia/Arsenal? I'd take that with a pinch of salt, but I'd be disappointed if it does happen.

    Sergio Agüero

Speaking of which, didn't he do something similar against Pepe in the CL game in the Etihad stadium? :pep:

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Nope, he was suspended for the second leg against PSG.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Yeah, I think Bartra will do a decent (probably not amazing, but decent) job in the first leg against Bayern. The second leg as well, if Masch and Puyol aren't back. He did a decent job against PSG, especially the second leg.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Great news. I heard Puyol might return as well.

What do you think will happen to Barca in the Champions League?

A chance? We're not even underdogs IMO. We definitely have a chance. Like I've said before, I think this is a 50/50 tie. And I agree that saying we have no chance with the team we have is laughable. Our defense may suck, but we have the best attack and midfield in the world. Not to mention 3...

    Thiago Translantara

He's also had great games in the Xavi role, especially when he's had Iniesta alongside him. For example, the games against Deportivo and Getafe. And the league game against Malaga (came off for Xavi for about the last 15 minutes, he got a goal and did well overall). Not exactly great sides...

    Thiago Translantara

While he was in the Iniesta role for the Zaragoza game, he's had great games in the Xavi role as well (i.e. against Deportivo, Getafe, the Liga game against Malaga, etc. Not exactly great sides (aside from Malaga), but neither are Zaragoza). Especially when he's had Iniesta next to him.

    Thiago Silva

Apparently, he did say he's not ruling out a future move... :eusa_think: If he supports Barca, maybe he's seen our defense and wants to fix it? One can always dream, right?
