I loved Xabi at Liverpool, tbh he was one of my first "favorite" individual footballers. Disappointing some of the stuff he's done at Madrid though & he definitely doesn't fit in Spain's midfield but in the big picture, he's not overrated.

I really like how the senior Azzurri & U21's work together. The senior side took guys like De Sciglio, El Shaarawy. While Verratti, Insigne, Florenzi etc who are all probably good enough for the senior side stay with the U21's while they still can so that team can be as competitive as it is...

I don't think anyone actually thinks he's "not bad" as in average, someone just posted the stats from one season as something interesting/weird. If anyone thinks Pirlo is average then they probably don't watch him.

Real Talk. Wish people would stop using decades-old stereotypes like it's still the norm. Prandelli's senior side & Mangia's U21s have both been exciting to watch most of the time, this type of victory such as yesterday is atypical of how they usually play.

I hope it's a closer game than that, but I think Spain will win too.
