Best DM in the last decade?

The obvious answer would be either Makelele, or Gattusso. But I am not in a position to answer this. So I 'll pass.

    Wayne Rooney

What about Fabio Coentrao? But stupid Mourinho plays him out of position. As for Cashley? He is well past it.

Should members back the Qatar sponsorship?

This arrangement will soon collapse. But for the time being, it is what it is.

Best DM in the last decade?

I really have to think about this.

    Best League in Europe ?

UEFA keeps coefficients to answer precisely this question. http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/data/method4/crank2012.html

    Fernando Torres

Rafael and Fabio you can forget about. Smalling is decent, but I think not much more than that. Jones. That boy looks like the real deal.

    Unai Emery

Well, he is right. If we play like the AC Milan game, sure they can.

Should members back the Qatar sponsorship?

Once the rules of the game are set by a global system, there is no rationale behind moralistic grandstanding. We need that money if we are going to compete with ultra-rich Real Madrid, hugely popular and commercial Man Utd, oil-backed Citeh, and Russian backed Chelski. I am really sorry, but...

    Fernando Torres

 But that is not where the irrationality of Mancunians ends. At one and the same time, Jones and Smalling are Baresis and Maldinis, plus, Rio Ferdinand (who has been mostly crap for the better part of 2 years) and Rafael (who has been crap since birth) will improve the team once they return.

    Wayne Rooney

As much as I love Silva, he cannot be compared to the beast that Rooney is. Rooney is the most complete all around player on the planet. Not the best by any means, I consider Messi, and even CR7 to be ahead of him (comfortably in the case of Leo) Rooney can shoot, pass, head, run, defend...

    Wayne Rooney

Ashley Cole was by far the worse player at OT on Sunday afternoon. OK, alongside Frankie Lampard.

    Wayne Rooney

We only have 4 forwards, and one of them is out for 2 months. The other will soon be 30 and is inconsistent, and the other is Pedrito. Rooney would fit Barca like the proverbial condom. No doubt about that. Only worry for me would be language, cos' I cannot picture Wayne catching up on Spanish...

    Fernando Torres

United were missing Vidic. Nobody else. Mancunians will have to decide, are Phil Jones and Smalling great players, or is old Rio and Rafael better than them?

    Radamel Falcao

Celtic are of a much more lower level than Barca and United. So there is little conflict there. But United and Barcelona duke it out almost every year for the CL. It is difficult for me to root for both. No, basically its absolutely impossible. United are enemy number one or two for this...

    Fernando Torres

I though of him finished before the United game, but confidence is something that can easily be earned back. I see Torres striking back.

    Fernando Torres

Torres has been cumbersome since early 2010, when he suffered numerous injuries. Then, in late 2010 he seemed to have regained some form (remember his 2 goals against Chelsea) But after moving to Chelsea in Jan 2011, has virtually been a slouch. But last Sunday, I saw many glimpses of the Torres...

    Fernando Torres

He totally took your defense apart on four (4) occasions. You were lucky that he blew 2 of them, and Ramires blew the other. I have felt recently that Torres may have finished as a world class footballer, but his display against United suggests otherwise. He brought United to face a losing...

    Radamel Falcao

How can you be a United sympathiser, and a Barca fan at the same time?

    Radamel Falcao

That kind of player is basically passe. Today's game is more robust, and more technical at the same time. Falcao is probably a relic of a bygone era. But for me, his greatest gift, is his heading prowess. That is definitely not my favourite type of goal, but it makes a huge difference.
