He has scored like 3 out of 1,000,000 free kicks - please Ibra, just stop taking them!
Anyway, wasn't a great or even good game - I have to admit he's slowly past it.
That CL win with Inter was very lucky indeed. They played some 'great' antifotball, unbelievable.
Another thing with Mou is that always when he loses with his cynical antifotball he starts to blame the refs - "if the ref would have given us that free-kick, they wouldn't have scored that goal 10...
Well, I'm also against buying a new CM, but it not because Hali hopefully come back next summer already - I feel his position would be LW/RW + maybe AM. Yes, Ney and Messi have those positions locked down, but with such talent Hali got he should get many minutes. Maybe its time to rest Messi...
How can we have become a laughingstock if silly rumours are simply made up by "journalists"/tabloids wanting to make some money? Rumours are simply rumours, we're linked to like 500 players every season and another 500 during silly season.
Anyway... Imo we need a young(er) CB, potential world...
Maybe maybe. Hard to say how Thiago would fair paired in todays Barca besides an Iniesta in top form, compared to more of a hard worker like Raki or Roberto on top form. Guess we'll never find out. But all things aside, Thiago is doing great and his services would be appreciated in 2 seasons...
...and what we should do is stop comparing him to player x and y, just be happy we have another youth product slowly making his way into the team. Comparing him to two of the best cm's that ever played the game is a bit unfair at this stage, but this is Barca and not you local pub amateur team...
Still, don't want to be a downer but I think he won't make it. If things stay pretty much the same he should be loaned and Hali brought back as RW/LW/AM/CM backup.
First of all, I don't think we "waste" him playing him on RB - is that an unimportant position? If he excels there, go for it! Second, how Vidal turns out is anybodies guess - he could be another Mathiue on RB, or worse, like Douglas.
The Messi injury brought some good things - from being totally lost in attack the first few weeks after he was injured, to Neyboy + Suarez stepping up and we have an identity even without Messi.
Great goal again, he sometimes reminds me of Ronaldo (the original one) when he scores and just makes it look so easy - but yeah, Ronaldo was of course quicker and more technical.
He hasn't been great no, but against teams like RM or Bayern - games that attack a lot - his experience, muscles and defensive qualities are still needed. Roberto is doing good, I will not write him off if he has a bad game against RM - but I would feel more secure with Raki. Time will tell...
some voices were raised in the chat that he's overrated :facepalm1: well, he's is of course not WC and he might never be - but he's been outstanding for a long stretch of matches now so it's not down to luck anymore. he's legit and if he keeps improving just a little over the season I see no...
