    Gerard Deulofeu

I can see Neymar-Messi-Deulofeu working really well at some point, but it's way too soon right now. Deulo's still very raw.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Ajax would be awesome tbh, if he starts there.

    Fixed.

Milan had a better team last year, and we were denied a penalty in each leg. Not to mention we didn't get owned 2-0 in the first leg. We only lost 1 clasico last season (and owned RM 3-1 once), against a MUCH better RM side. This season, we only won 1 clasico, and got owned 3-1 in the last one...

You do realize that the same applies to pretty much every big game, right? It wasn't just Bayern, we've been shit in big games in general this season (RM, 1st leg against Milan, etc), and while we weren't perfect last season, we were much better in big games.

    Iñigo Martínez

He'd be much better than some of the other CBs we've been linked with (Mathieu, Vermaelen, etc). I'd prefer Marquinhos though. Or better yet, Silva (though, like I said, it looks unlikely to happen).

    Iñigo Martínez

This. He's like Puyol, not that tall but still strong and good in the air. I'd also prefer Marquinhos though. And I'd prefer Silva to either of them :p

    Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

 We've been absolute shit in big games this season. Much worse than last season (2nd leg against Milan aside). That's also undeniable. We haven't been better this season than last season. As for winning the league with a 15 point advantage over RM, you can thank Messi for that. Not to...

Yup, we dominated Chelsea and got unlucky. We must have hit the woodwork more times than Chelsea had shots on target  I definitely think we would have gone through had Villa not been injured (and Villa's injury, unlike the injuries we've had this season, was not the coach's fault). Hell, I...

    How good will Neymar get?

On a scale of 0 (complete flop) to 10 (all-time great), how good do you think Neymar will become? I'll go with 8.

    David Villa

Out of Alexis, Villa and Pedro, I think Pedro would be my first choice to get sold atm. IMO, we should sell one of Pedro or Alexis instead of Villa, they're too similar to one another. It's probably gonna be Villa who leaves though.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Barcelona consider buying Monchengladbach keeper Ter Stegen this summer and letting him play at Monchengladbach on loan next season. [el9]

    Iñigo Martínez

He has the aerial ability, his height doesn't really matter. I'm not saying that 30m for him would be a good deal, but, again, I'd rather get him for 30m than some mediocre CB for free. We need to either get a world-class CB like Silva, or a potential world class CB like Mangala, Marquinhos or...

    Iñigo Martínez

I'd rather pay 30M for him than get some mediocre CB like Mathieu or Vermaelen for free. We have 35M of the transfer budget left, after all. Not saying that that's a great idea, but I'd rather do that. Of course, I'd rather add 10M to that and get a world-class CB (rather than a potential one)...

    Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

And that's what we would have done with a bit more luck/slightly better finishing. And btw, the injuries were Tito's fault for shit rotation and overplaying players like Xavi, Puyol, Messi, etc. I hate it when people use the "but he had an injured squad!" excuse.

    Jeremy Mathieu

29 years old, not Barca quality, not a real CB, and cheap for a reason? Hell no. I suppose I wouldn't mind him as a 3rd/4th choice CB, but I'd rage if he were our only CB signing. We need a world class CB or at least a young one with world class potential, not some random mediocre 5M player...

+1 We were extremely unlucky to lose to Chelsea and not be in the CL final last season. Hell, we were even unlucky against Inter in 2010 (had Bojan's goal not been wrongly disallowed, we would have gone through), though not to the same extent. This time, Bayern completely dominated us and...

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

I don't know that much about the B team, but Deulofeu's carrying them right now, right? And next season, it looks like he'll either be promoted or go out on loan (the latter seems more likely). Perhaps with Deulofeu no longer there to carry Eusebio's ass, management will see how shitty he is...

If Barca get a new coach, who should it be?

Looks like Laudrup's having problems with Swansea's board

    Thiago Silva

Doesn't the club get part of that? Use it to buy Silva :D
