    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I have no doubt that Messi is innocent. Just saying that even after he's proven innocent, the accusation alone could hurt his image. But yeah, I'm probably worrying too much

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

A bad image could prevent the voters from voting for him. But yeah, I don't think it's gonna hurt his chances of winning the Ballon d'or too badly.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Didn't he once say that Neymar is better than Messi?

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

One problem with getting Lamela: what happens when Deulofeu returns from his loan spell? I don't see us being able to fit those 2 and Neymar in the same team (since one of the 3 will probably be on the bench, and I doubt any of them would be happy with that).

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Pele: "For his quality, Neymar deserved to play at the best team in the world, alongside the best player in the world, Messi." [sport] I thought he hated Messi

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Of course. Just saying that a bad image can hurt his chances, but I (like anyone who's not a Messi hater/Ronaldo fanboy) know that Messi won his Ballon d'ors because he was the best player, not because of his image or anything like that.

This. Messi at false 9 isn't the problem, or at least not as big a part of the problem as many make it out to be. Like you said, Villa and Pedro aren't what they used to be, our defense sucks, our coach sucks, our pressing sucks, etc. Like I said, IF we change his position (not saying we...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

We were arguably even better in 2011 with Messi at false 9 and Villa and Pedro on the wings. I'd rather not play Messi out of position. And IF we do change his position, I think we should put him behind a striker, like we did in the second leg against Milan. Or get a striker who can play on the...

    Fernando Torres

I don't see him ever getting back to his Liverpool form.

    Cesc Fàbregas

If we rotate better and use him more often, I think Thiago would be content, because he knows he'll replace Xavi in a few years time. The problem isn't that Thiago's not a starter or the fact that Cesc is there, the problem is Tito's shit rotation. Cesc doesn't hugely interfere with Thiago's...

    Cesc Fàbregas

We need the depth anyways, so we should keep both. 3 players for 2 positions is not enough. Like I said, we just need to rotate better.

    5 best games since 2009?

    Which games were our 5 best since 2009? Personally, I'd say: 1. 5-0 vs Real Madrid (2010) 2. 2-6 vs Real Madrid (2009) 3. 3-1 vs Man U (2011) 4. 4-1 vs Arsenal (2010) 5. 4-0 vs Bayern (2009) Mentions: 2-0 vs Man U (2009), 4-0 vs Milan (2013), 7-1 vs Leverkusen (2012)

    Cesc Fàbregas

Keep both, rotate more. Problem solved. If I had to pick one to keep though, I'd pick Thiago.
  14. darthvader7888

    Alexis Sanchez

Neymar's definitely more of a winger though.
  15. darthvader7888

    Iñigo Martínez

Remember, the money for Neymar will be paid in installments. Since it'll be paid over 3 years, I'm guessing about 16M was paid up front (we spent 10m beforehand, so 47/3 = 16). So we have about 34M left.

    Thiago Translantara

Didn't Zubi or someone say something about the number 11 belonging to Thiago during Neymar's press conference? Or something like that. Nah, if that happens, I hope Tito leaves. Problem solved. Looks like we'll be giving him another shot next season, but I can see him getting sacked if he...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

I doubt the accusation is true, but I think the accusation alone will damage Messi's image and hurt his chance of winning the Ballon d'or.

I don't think Agger's Barca quality, but you have a point, I don't watch him much. Still, if we're getting a 29 year old, I wouldn't take any less than Thiago Silva.

He's 29 and mediocre. No thanks.

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger (29) and Valencia defender Jeremy Mathieu (29) are at this moment among the main centre back options [sport]
