Yeah, Pep knows there is a shelf life to EVERYONE in Spanish football (especially). Even more so at Barcelona or Real Madrid. The club and fans move on, regardless of how successful the past was.
He'll definitely be playing for the first team next season to some extent. Presuming Fabregas isn't signed, I'd imagine he'll feature in 25-30 games in all competitions.
As for his position, he's a central midfielder principally.
I'd be surprised if they didn't win something major next season tbh. I believe in Pep & the team but it's Mourinho's second year, he'll know what to do...
What formation do you see José using mainly next season? Will it have both Marcelo and Coentrao in? Or will Marcelo just back up both Coentrao and Ronaldo on the left?
Sorry, I really just wanted to use that gif. Although I do disagree. Higuain is great, a really good goalscorer, but Kun has the potential to be better.
It's not really the confidence/cockiness/whatever that bothers me. It's more that sometimes he needs to realise he can't force the play.
Knowing when to chill and when to go for it is part of what makes Iniesta and Xavi so good.
