I don't see how Sahin can be overrated... He's young and has just played a major role in a title-winning Dortmund side. He's now stepping up a level in terms of clubs and we'll see how he does.

Rooney's great but I don't know about him at Barcelona. He loses effectiveness in front of goal when he plays out wide (which is obviously where he'd play for Barcelona). Unless we just make Messi an AM when Xavi gets too old and have Rooney ahead of him. That'd be pretty tasty.

Clearly Mourinho wants/wanted the Barcelona job above all else. I mean, he was interviewed for the job by Laporta (et al) in 2008 but the club went with Pep over him. That's gotta sting.

It's to be expected, hard to sustain being the best team around for three years without annoying a few people/there being a backlash. If we're rubbish next season and another team becomes dominant, the focus will shift to them.
